I haven't had the pleasure of playing this game but I can see where Jay was coming from with the gliding and no danger. It kinda reminded me of missions in the Spider-Man movie adaption games. @Stef4o91 i beat it on normal.. haven't done all the side missions but i've done many of them.. took me about 10 hours i'd say to get to the point where i'm at right now and i can't imagine it taking another 15 hours for 100% completion of even just the side quests. i started a new game+ last night.. we'll see how long that takes me to beat. idk.. i think this game is really short, but it's really fun, so.. it's kewl.

The problem I have with J's comment on the whole villains in the air thing is that batman is supposed to own the night, so it makes sense that no one would try to attack him in his territory. It just wouldn't be fun if when you're sneaking around trying to take out guys from the air, a helicopter lands right next to you and 10 guys get out and give away position. That wouldn't be very batman like.
Good review. The negative point for the joker not having obstacles in the air for Batman, is kind of a funny reason. I think that the design is near perfection & the city creates an opportunity to set your own pace. You will be on the ground plenty, during the main story missions. The grapple boost helps to change things up. I kind of felt like a hawk, gliding around and diving down into combat. Being on the ground worked for Arkham Asylum, because the map is only 1/3 the size of Arkham City.
9.0 is a good score but the reason for giving it is just sad. I mean, if the joker or any other of the bad guys had things flying in the air they could just get the things to fly themselves over the fence of arkham city or send the things over the fence to attack gotham. if they added dangerous stuff flying in the air it would become a tad to much unrealistic. redicolous complaint. i would have agreed if the reason was a bit more thorough

Yeah Kat, I'll definitely try it on a higher difficulty. As of now I'm jumping between Batman AC's challenge modes and the Uncharted 3 Subway multiplayer. With Uncharted 3 coming in just 3 days a Batman AC replay will have to wait. I totally agree with you on the gliding thing. It is awesome to glide around and pitstop on buildings or street blocks and take out some armed henchmen.
i had one problem with the game: TERRIBLE SCREAN TEARING! IT'S SO BAD! but hey, it's the consoles' hardware limitations - i'm sure it'll be fucking perfect on PC

The lack of air combat is not the only thing that I find wrong with the game. At times the game is a great button masher. The combat is not as good as God of war 3's combat system. I gave the game a 9/10. That's a very high score. Deal with it. Get real.

"In his professional opinion" Haha, dude there is nothing "professional" about this review... also the lack of air combat I think is not a problem really, you can glide around the city freely and use various methods of flight by upgrading your gadgets and what not.

@tazss159 No he shouldn't. If he doesn't think it deserves that high of a score, he shouldn't give it more than a 9.0. Got that? It their show, it their opinions.. And in his opinion is lacks air combat. And the game feels like a great button masher at some points, that's also a part of why it didn't get a higher score. Face the facts, he didn't like it as much as you did.

@tazss159 No, I'm saying that there is some other problems with the game that didn't work i the game.. I can't tell you why he thinks that the game is a button masher at some points.. And that you don't know where to go sometimes etc. Those flaws made him give the game a 9.0, stop crying like a little faggot. Do your own reviewshow and give the game what the fuck you want.

@3killabytes I disagree. Batman is classically safe on the buildings and in the air. If something got the drop on him every five minutes whilst he lurks in the sky then it wouldn't feel like you are Batman. I guarantee your score would drop to an 8 / 10 if they had added in air enemies.

Mike rated it well, Kat couldnt make up her mind then copied mike and gave it the same score as mike, Jay is too harsh on most games and underrates it sometimes
