  • You are someone uncultured bastard. I do not go around and insult nations. You speak on the youtube privatly. If you are a man come face us.

  • i meant oposition called them "heroes"..

  • Also oposition parties critisize all of them. Oqruashvili even told about one oposition leader women she was a whore, but when he and others moved to oposition they were "HEROES" that's not normal. Well if you think it is normal then say it..

  • First of all were did you see that i am aggresive.secondly i mentioned Gas and Bullets(water is ain't important)...Why does all russians dislike him coz his is one who can return all territories.well i am really sad that Jvania is dead but about other "ex-friends" you mentioned (Zurabishvili ,Oqruashvili, who is in prison,Xaindrava) they were only people who i disliked, and they were fired just because they didn't do job well.

  • Correct me if I am a wrong guys, but why do you consider everyone who criticizes Saakashvili a pro-Russian guy? Why one cannot be against Saakashvili and against Russian expansion at the same time?

Second, I saw the video where it's not only bullets, water and gas. You can easily find in on youtube. And it is scary.

Also, someone said about Saakashvili's supporters' quantity, well, his own ex-friends are either dead, or in opposition, one is even in French prison asking for protection.

  • Understand, you do not chose one person, you chose a team, which was so beautiful and inspiring at the beginning. Saakashvili made too many mistakes. Why are you so aggressive towards the persons who notice that?

  • What about "imedi" TV station . it is ruled By Multi-billionaire Badri-arkadi Patarkacishvili who was financing the Oposition and wanted to return Georgia back to 90s (civil war). Also this TV station was closed ONLY FOR SEVERAL weeks. fonmally only one TV station worked in the way of televizing politicial things others weren't allowed coz of hard tensed situation in the capital city.

  • Also someone mentioned demonstrations... after several das they had just 2000-3000 man, they decided to stop traffic though they could demonstrate in front of parliament freely. The Police didn't allow them to do that so they made em to move forward but tehy started fight and didn't move ALTHOUGH they were WARNED THAT bullets and gas would be used.

  • orinakbonn,

Saakashvili has reformed whole country which was drowning in coruption also almost , every 10th were street boys. => coruptors were fired and street boys were arrested so that may be answer to your Question. Also a lot of people beleived about the shit Gachechiladze and his partners said.

  • Let's pretend I believe the official numbers, but they also mean that every second Georgian who was supporting him at previous elections is deeply disappointed in Saakashvili now. If we just compare the numbers with his previous victory. What have this guy done during the period of his presidency to make his every second supporter hate him? Maybe he was not democratic? Or maybe he was, but Georgians are blind?

  • 53% is a very good number in a democratic framework. do some research. check out how much to the elected and re-elected officials and parties. get in the western republics. i'm not particularly fond of saakashvili but gachechiladze in comparison to him is an ignorant thug

  • Its not about Saakashvili or Gachechiladze, its about losing popularity or at least being not able to show the results. In case you wish to be a little more attentive, I never said 53 % was a bad result, I said it is a huge decrease in comparison to previous victory. The message was about it.

  • you message was about the reasons to why did the number of his supporters decreased. and you stated that his every second supporter is deeply disappointed or even hates him. i don't know where you get this info, though. probably people in Ireland are well informed about the intimate thoughts of saakashvili's supporters.

either that or you watch too much official russian news (which is, pretty much, all russian news)

  • well, thanks for trying to figure out where I get the information from. I get it ONLY from the figures, from 96 percents he now gained only 53. Does this tell that Saakashvili is more supported now in Georgia? One has to be stipud to give the positive answer to that question. The figures tell a lot, my friend. And one more thing, please do not be a racist, if you want to join EU, accept, that Russians have the same rights as you.

  • Igor Ogorodnev, how does it feel to work for an evil empire? no really, i'm curious.

  • according to the georgian law you need a permit for a demonstration. the demonstrators had obtained such permits. but the thing is that that permit does not allow permanent protests/rallies. the permission is valid for a limited time. they did not stop the demonstration when they had to. moreover, the closed down the main avenue of the capital city.

  • ..before being chased down with tear gas and water cannons they were asked by the police to not interfere with the traffic and wrap up the demonstration. when they refused, attacked the police and started rioting - anti-riot forces were deployed.

  • Finally someone who answers the questions, thank you, I have few more:

    1. Why the protesters were not called to court, if they broke the rules and hindered the normal traffic of the capital. Does this mean anyone can do so in the future in your capital on daily basis?

  • Do you seriuosly mean it? Don't you understaand that those protesters are a bolshevik kind- they do not have any knowledge at all, but the ill will. There is only one language they understand..

  • you probably have never seen a demonstration. you know what happens when police comes to arrest some of the persons from the crowd? the rest of the crowd beats the shit out of the police. that is what happened.

still, the ones that were arrested had charges drawn against them. of course it's only some minor fine for misconduct.

  • ..about the tv station. calling to revolution is unconstitutional in georgia. the station was shut down because of their unconstitutional activity.

i will gladly answer any of your further questions.

  • 2. How did Saakashvili come to power? Revolution. I have heard few times Saakashvili's call for revolution, when they were droping Shevardnadze. This, of course was unconstitutional at that time as well. Do you mean Saakashvili must be held responsible for that?

  • any revolution is unconstitutional. you are absolutely right. but saakashvili did not usurp power after shevardnadze's 30 year rule was ended. he was elected president after several months. but that revolution, fortunately was not financed by russia. that makes a humongous difference.

  • wait, wait, wait, to me it makes no difference, if the TV station was closed because of the call for revolution, and it is against the law, and you said Saakashvili was calling for revolution as well. It makes no sence who finances the revolution, the crime is a crime. Why do you mention Russia here? To me its the same crime if it is financed by Norway.

  • exactly, its the same for you. you probably never lived under the russian rule. though i agree that any revolution is against constitution, i cant agree that it doesnt matter who financed it. that makes all the difference.

crime is a crime in theory. jesus was a criminal. ghandi was a criminal. henry david thoreau was a criminal too.
