Well with mine I need to set the brakes or else it doesn't open at all. It might be because the fabrics a little heavy and falls almost the same rate as the jumper when it's compacted. I have to set them about the same length as the c's. I'm tryin to think of a way to get them automatically release at the right time.

How much do you set the brakes? As in the same as the a lines, b lines, or what? Can you get a very clean and fast opening without setting them?

@gliderpilotB i don't set the breaks at all...doesn't make sense, since there is nobody to "unset" and steer them..even if you have a RC base jumper he would hold the toggles constantly, so you can't actually set them...of course, you could control the amount of forward speed by setting your breaks..
