  • Reporter: "Okay so what's the 3rd move? arm bars maybe?" lol when he said that, this is what I imagined was about to happen: (Thiago): "No, i'm gonna punch you in the fucking face."

  • LOL thats funny..when he asked him where he learned that he's all trying to advertise his MMA GYM...lol he knows he learned that in Brazil...the reporter tryd to call him out on it ...lol idk i might jus b hi ;)...he's still a gud fighter tho

  • how tall is thiago? he looks small height wise

  • I love when Wrestlers come into Jiu Jitsu and give up arms all the time haha. Double armbars are so much fun to pull on them.

  • that guy looked nervous as fuck in that first hold lmao

  • lol@ the interview asking "where did you learn that?"

    dum ass.

  • "Thiago's gonna show us a couple of mo...UGMH!! AHH AAHHHHHHH HEL....HELP ME.....UGH..GUHG;NFKV"

"What now ya mothafucka" -Thiago as he brutally punches the hapless reporter with vicious punches and knees.

  • @vJackTv Dude there are way too many variations and transitions to an armbar to say all of them are too easy to get out of. I always hit them from mount, fake an americana and sweep to an armbar and it works almost everytime. Also from backmount, fake an RNC then hook the arm and sweep over, another armbar.

  • @rednek316 works every time? your must be training with very low level competition if that set up rarely fails for you. most bjj practitioners will adapt to a set up thats worked on them a couple of times, especially one as basic as that.

  • @jambodian39 If you've been rolling for awhile they won't know. It's easy for high level blues and low purples to spot out, but for the majority, whites and low level blues don't see it coming.

  • @rednek316 the americana set up is so simple. most white belts in our school would no this

  • @jambodian39 I know that... my comment was about armbar variations though, not americanas...

  • @rednek316 and i know that, however you said thats how you set up your armbars and "it works almost everytime". i am tellin you and any1 that reads this that that set up is very basic and will not work on any1 half decent.

to get an americana to the point where you are beyond the elbow (which u need if u want to transition it into an armbar) is very dificult

  • @jambodian39 Lol it's not necessarily difficult, unless you try using retard strength to pull it, use a set-up for the americana set-up. I probably should've mentioned to that guy that a majority of the time you'll need a chain of set-ups, nonetheless it's not very difficult, at least against who I roll with.

What are you belted at anyways?

  • @rednek316 its just an easy move to defend against but obv not impossible with a good set up. once u have it locked in that much tho why not just fin the americana?

am belted purple under Royce Gracie. how about urself?

  • @jambodian39 Hard to believe, but if it's true that's highly respectable.

I'm a Blue out out Kore Kombat. Hopefully I can find the time to head up to Yamasaki's gym.

  • @rednek316 believe wat u want. mayb if i ever get round to heading over to the states to compete ill meet u in comp if u ever get promoted. wat u weigh?

  • @jambodian39 I'm tryin' to cut to 66KG in for wrestling.

  • no the best submission is the arm triangle in my opinion. But i like getting people in the crusifics

  • MMgAy.

  • @deeeznuts00 Fuck yooooohhhh!

  • wow..he seems kind of....educated....for a fighter

  • @badgerbun 75% of fighters in the a ufc have a college degree/education. This is due to the effectiveness of wrestling in a fight...which is taught in college.

  • i love thiago alves .. if gsp is gonna die he'll be the next welterweight champion

  • i hope alves knockes out fitch

  • my favorite move...bicep slicer. Oh yeah.

  • I personally love the armbar. What I love even more is when people have the balls not to tap out and get their arm snapped.

  • lmao Kimura best you gotta be an idiot REAR nAKED chok has the highest percentage of any submission then guillotine and then arm bar

  • i dont know about the kimura beingthe best i'd say maybe arm or leg triangle

  • @RottY215 lmao what the fuck is a leg triangle.

  • @trapped24621 Hahaha obviously the best submission ever =p instant tap everytime.

  • @RottY215 yeh standing kimura isn't the best move in MMA it's better to start with a knee to wind them, then do what Alves did, but move it in to a hammerlock on the ground. As for arm triangle; the reporter was a bit too tall to do it standing.

  • jonny232323232323 that would be the funniest ever

  • kimura is the best submission

  • you remind me of a tryhard ufc fan putting your name as ufchalo and kimura prob the only submission you know

  • ok than.its jus a youtube name calm down wow.ur prob jus some 11 year old kid trying to act tough on youtube sitting behind his keyboard dissing people.get a life faggot.

  • imagine when he said show us some moves he just started smashing him with strikes lol

  • Hahahahahahaha...

  • @jonny232323232323 LOLOL! That would have made a good comedy skit.

  • @jonny232323232323 haha One leg kick from him would do it.

  • haha! reporter tapped out of fear.
