Buy an Xbox 360 controller, and then by the computer addon that lets you play computer games with a 360 controller via wireless adapter in a USB port.

Emulators and roms map surprisingly well with it. Just don't expect any precise aim. Sensetivity is a bit hard to control.

And yes, this is expensive as hell. But it lets you play them alot easier.
