for one the 250 2 stroke has more bottom end power so there for can accel. quicker than the 125 2 stroke and number 2 a 250 2 stroke engine is twice the size of a 125 2 stroke engine so more power to accel. the bike, if you havent figured that out yet... but if youre meaning a 125 2 stroke v. a 250 4 stroke then ofcoure the 125 will rape. duh

well you dont have to use the clutch to up shift but i always do just out of habit. i dont know if its better for the transmission but it just seems like it would be to me. and its not much faster to shift without the clutch cause your letting off the gas anyways so i just use the clutch and play it safe.

watch my vid i use clutch for up shifting its a necessary but down shifting you dont have to because you should never be coasting on a track. i short shift alot . when im on a track i never let off the gas when i shift it sounds good and it is really fast and it lets that 125 know who is boss. and when you ride in sand you will notice the difference right away because that is all my uncles track is then there is no engine bog. and the bike is always in the power band. i will make a vid in spring

I have a cr125r 2002 Engine got rebuilt this year and new plastic and exhaust and slincer i love it, it owns my 85, some advise when your shifting hold it pined it saves time.

it saves time and burns out your clutch alot faster.. its not really bad but not really good.. dont give advice that will ruin some ones bike or parts of someones bike.. it can also wear out the top end faster cuz when you dont let off the gas that little time before you shift when you pull the clutch, your bike is screaming its head off cuz you have it pinned with the clutch in
