  • I used to go to school from Crediton to Exeter on these. There used to be a loud cracking noise from underneath. when the chassis was flexed.

  • Devon General- a magic name! When I was growing up in Plymouth in the 1950s I used to see one occasionally arriving at "Harvest Home" which was the place for out of town buses to stop.
