@Pinkstylist oh a good way to keep a strong prosthetic is layering with tissue. the tissue also gives it a lively texture.

@wolfdwood1 Aye I do that with larger latex prosthetics :) But the chin was only a small prosthetic and it needed to be stretched over my own chin (if I added tissue to it it would have lost its elasticity).

any tips on what kind of makeup to use. I tried using the halloween makeup they sell but it was way to greasy and just slips off my face, since I already have oily skin. Any other type there is that you may know?? Awesome tutorials by the way!!!

@AstroBeatsProduction Which brand did you use hun? Regular store baught face paints don't have much pigment in them so they don't cover very well, and some dry out very very quickly, consequently you generally get a patchy and cracking finish. Is it a grease paint you have (it sounds like it)? Becuase I would recommend a water colour if you have slightly oily skin. Snazaroo are my favourites for water colours, Grimas are fab too.

@juaniI711 Well Grimas and Kryolan are great for special effects, Snazaroo are perfect for Water Colours and I always recommend them :) Liquid latex I would just buy an unknown brand as it can be found really cheap :)

Awsome job .. I like it better then ur 1st video.. And if ur lookin for a good kinda scaring effect or peeling flesh look .. Use wood glue it works really good ..

@bronxprince0408 Fabulous! I'll definately look into that one! Thanks for the tip! And as for the contacts, if my eyes feel up to it (i.e. not too sensitive), I prefer to put them in AFTER the makeup, but you should really put them in first to avoid smudging the makeup, plus if your eyes start to water it'll ruin the makeup! It comes down to how skilled (quick) you are at putting them in :)

Can I use spirit gum to make the scars through out the lips?

@Chicag0FB I doubt it :( I used liquid latex as it made it appear as if it is fake skin hang off, you could possibly use spirit gum to "pucker" the skin and make it look scarred? But thats more of a job for Rigid Collodion, which is something you can get from Kryolan x

@Superblackpotato Hey there! Sounds awesome! Well the main things u'll need is a pale face and messy clowns tend to look more evil (in my opinion hehe), so you could always get a cheap white face paint and apply it patchy (it will probably crack naturally as well), you can make a colnvincing and edible fake blood with honey/red, green and black food colouring mixed with cornstarch? That can be applied everywhere and look evil! Try using fake blood where the red nose or red lips should be!

@Superblackpotato plus liquid latex can't hurt if you can get hold of it on the cheap! Have a search through eBay to see if you can get some, that makes for a great flakey peeling skin texture!

@cwbycopey1 You can buy liquid latex as most party shops (but are usually rediculously over priced),your best bet is eBay or Amazon, you only need a little though (a 150Ml bottle will last you a VERY long time if you would only be using it for stuff like this :) ) The makeup is mostly all bought through the direct companies: i.e. Kryolan from Charles Fox, Snazaroo from Snazaroo etc :)
