  • Really nice. And the bird seems to like it to, i like that. How old is he? And how long did it take you to train him that well?

I have a african grey, about 10 month old. I tried to train her, but shes not ready yet. But its the plan that she should do a lot of tricks, when shes ready. :P

  • @MissEgholm Kili was about one and a half when we made this video. She had learned all these tricks by the time she was one. She really likes showing off for people. So I guess it took about 9 months to teach her all of this. Check out new videos of Truman, trick training explained and a more similar sized parrot.

Mine only know how to say "bitch" in spanish and poops all day long.

I am the worst teacher ever u.u

  • cool.He must have to remember how to do a lot of tricks!

  • BIRDS ARE FRICKIN COLOR BLIND!!! HOW CAN HE TELL RED FROM BLUE!!!?? you must train him very very very very very

20 minutes later very very very very well!!

  • @ilamiri Birds are definitely NOT color blind. If they were color blind, don't you think it would be MUCH harder for them to find food in the wild (especially since so many berries in nature are red and many of them depend on birds to propagate and spread - think natural selection) ? And, don't you think that the 'parrot toy-making companies' would pick colors other than red and blue for the ring and pegs if birds were color blind?

  • THAT WAS 23 TRICKS NOT 20 I WAS COUNTING

    :P {:]} Thumbs up if u counted 23 too

  • too bad kili didn't do to good at America's got talent :(

  • @YayNadya he probably felt under pressure

  • @AwesomeNinjaSkills acutally kili's a girl and it was because of the blaring lights and screaming people.

  • omg you 2 are awesome. Really nice work !!!

  • How did u teach him to flip???????

  • I remember seeing you on AGT and got EXCITED! I heard the name Kili and was SOOOO excited to see you. I'm sorry Kili got stage fright. All of us on youtube knows what she can do, and we are all so proud of her. maybe next time huh? LOVE YA KILI!!!!

  • Hi Kili: So, the audience of America's Got Talent didn't get to see you perform, but we fans know what you can do. Just seeing you was a pleasure for me, you are a true artist, you perform when you feel like it. Your human friend was great too, he handled the situation with dignity and grace. Bravo to both.

  • @Veevid4u Thanks. Actually Kili did perform some of her tricks but no one saw it anyway cause she was too small. Some of my guests in the audience told me they couldn't see what she was doing besides a little blob of green. For TV though, they cut out the 15 seconds when she didn't do anything and skipped showing when she was cautiously overcoming her fear and doing tricks like basketball and ring on peg by color. Thanks for your support and I'll be making more videos in the future.

  • @Veevid4u I thought for a second you were one of the judges WTF!

  • You are very lucky!!! Xxx

  • great and sympathic teacher ! :) great staff. u could earn much money on this...

  • i bet it can't make a sandwich...

  • amazing!!

  • I thought it might have been you on america's got talent as well... so had to check the name...and yep!! Haha.... I actually think that it is sooo freaking adorable she got stage fright!!!! Totally made my day!! Especially cuz we know what she can do!! :)

  • @ashabash85 Actually it wasn't really "stage" fright cause she performed very well at a high school and during a stage check on the show she did a splendid job as well. The real issue was that the audience was shouting and screaming and they were blinking lights during the performance and she had never experienced such an obnoxious crowd before. She's much more accustomed to everyone quietly staring with their jaw dropped, all attention on her!

  • I thought it might have been you on america's got talent as well... so had to check the name...and yep!! Haha.... I actually think that it is sooo freaking adorable she got stage fright!!!! Totally made my day!! Especially cuz we know what she can do!! :)

  • I knew that had to be you on Americas Got Talent! I wish that Kili would have shown what he could do, but that's got to be difficult in that atmosphere. I love your videos & they inspired us to go out an get our own parrot... a pineapple green cheeked conure named Voggie. I hope he can learn half the things you've taught Kili. I absolutely love how he can play dead. You're both amazing!

  • @teakie24 Thanks. Yeah, she didn't do a stellar job on the show but by no means as horrible as they showed. She did eventually bowl, dunk a basketball, and put on rings by color. It's just that she was stunned and slow so it didn't look good. They cut out all the good parts to justify losing. While I admit it wasn't her best performance, she did an outstanding job for a bird in such a situation and they showed it in the worst possible way.

  • Cooool nice little freak XD

  • Whats the name of Kili Senegal Parrot on German?

  • you look like Bruce Banner

  • make a video how to teach a parrot to pretend to die

  • I thought u were great on Americas got talent!! I could c that Kili was distracted, but I can tell u rite now and I'm not kidding, the second I saw u on AGT I freaked out!! I was like "That's Kili!!!!!!" I know that Kili is a wonderful parrot and ur fans on YouTube still love u and ur birds!!! I think u did great!!

  • Forever Alone :')

  • Hey :) I am very impressed with this parrot, so smart!! I have a 6 month old eclectus parrot which I have hand reared from 5 weeks of age. I would love to teach him some tricks. I work in a pet store which allows me to bring him with me to work, so I have plenty of time with him every day! Do you have any tips? Or a website/book you could maybe recommend for parrot trick training? Would love to hear back from you !

  • @14104404 I have my own website about how to train parrots. It's linked from "more info" under video and my channel. It's called Trained Parrot. Check out the trick training articles and archives from the sitemap.

  • @kiliparrot Thanks, will definitely check it out. Especially keen to teach the play dead trick and the summersault :) If I ever get him to do it, I will upload a video giving credit to you :D haha but he is going through his very cheeky faze currently, so will probably take me a long time and a lot of patience!!

    Thanks again :)

  • i love it when he ''die'' at 1:02 and when he flip at 1:18 .. it's so cool ! never knew a bird can do that

  • @laliibanesaa he said bang not die

  • I like it when he dies

  • cooooooooooool

  • As owner of a five-year-old Senegal, I have to say I am IN AWE of what you've don with Kili! She's wonderful, and I can tell she loves to perform. What a great way of enriching her life--not to mention giving her terrific exercise and face time with you! Kudos, well done. Now if I can only convince Turtle Bird that she, too can be a brilliant performing Sennie...

  • This is really amazing what you achieved with the bird.

However, if you continue with that music, he will be deaf soon.

I wonder what the bird thinks about the music. Haha

  • Love the video, but PLEASE...lose the stupid music!

  • Love the video, but PLEASE...lose the stupid music!
