Really nice. And the bird seems to like it to, i like that. How old is he? And how long did it take you to train him that well?
I have a african grey, about 10 month old. I tried to train her, but shes not ready yet. But its the plan that she should do a lot of tricks, when shes ready. :P
@MissEgholm Kili was about one and a half when we made this video. She had learned all these tricks by the time she was one. She really likes showing off for people. So I guess it took about 9 months to teach her all of this. Check out new videos of Truman, trick training explained and a more similar sized parrot.
Excellent Video, you should see my parrot playing parrot connect 4. I tried to teach her colours so I didnt give her a treat when she didnt do the right colours..she'd try and take the chips back out of it.
My senegal is 9 months old we bought him from a breeder at 6 months old and just watching your vidoes Bailey can do shake which he picked up in less then 10 mins of training and now I am teaching him wave which he is also picking up very quick =) great vidoes I love them. He will not talk on command but talks alot while we are taking a nap or sitting around. He can acually say full sentences of just things I do when I talk to him lol
Ok ok ok lol thanks really cool I have a parrot and I have Ben trying to teach him things like that fir 6 year and he can only do talk lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol
do you recomend me to get a senegal parrot and i think its not to young am getting it from a familly that couldn't take care of it and do tthey poop everywhere ? will they trust me even if i didn't get them too young ?
@ilamiri Birds are definitely NOT color blind. If they were color blind, don't you think it would be MUCH harder for them to find food in the wild (especially since so many berries in nature are red and many of them depend on birds to propagate and spread - think natural selection) ? And, don't you think that the 'parrot toy-making companies' would pick colors other than red and blue for the ring and pegs if birds were color blind?
awesome bird u inspired me to go ad buy a a senegal and hes just amazing, already taught him g=how to fly to me i one day....ive only had hi for 3 days
I felt like crying when i saw the americas got talent audition! I'm a big fan of yours before you appered on americas got talent, i just searched it now on youtube because i saw the comments on your channel! That's awful how they protrayed killi and it was awful what the host said! They will never know what a great and talented bird killi is and what a patient and talented owner you are! Don't worry, they missed out and you'll have the last laugh when killi becomes famous! Much love micheal! <3
I remember seeing you on AGT and got EXCITED! I heard the name Kili and was SOOOO excited to see you. I'm sorry Kili got stage fright. All of us on youtube knows what she can do, and we are all so proud of her. maybe next time huh? LOVE YA KILI!!!!

@Veevid4u Thanks. Actually Kili did perform some of her tricks but no one saw it anyway cause she was too small. Some of my guests in the audience told me they couldn't see what she was doing besides a little blob of green. For TV though, they cut out the 15 seconds when she didn't do anything and skipped showing when she was cautiously overcoming her fear and doing tricks like basketball and ring on peg by color. Thanks for your support and I'll be making more videos in the future.
I thought it might have been you on america's got talent as well... so had to check the name...and yep!! Haha.... I actually think that it is sooo freaking adorable she got stage fright!!!! Totally made my day!! Especially cuz we know what she can do!! :)
@ashabash85 Actually it wasn't really "stage" fright cause she performed very well at a high school and during a stage check on the show she did a splendid job as well. The real issue was that the audience was shouting and screaming and they were blinking lights during the performance and she had never experienced such an obnoxious crowd before. She's much more accustomed to everyone quietly staring with their jaw dropped, all attention on her!
I thought it might have been you on america's got talent as well... so had to check the name...and yep!! Haha.... I actually think that it is sooo freaking adorable she got stage fright!!!! Totally made my day!! Especially cuz we know what she can do!! :)
I knew that had to be you on Americas Got Talent! I wish that Kili would have shown what he could do, but that's got to be difficult in that atmosphere. I love your videos & they inspired us to go out an get our own parrot... a pineapple green cheeked conure named Voggie. I hope he can learn half the things you've taught Kili. I absolutely love how he can play dead. You're both amazing!
@teakie24 Thanks. Yeah, she didn't do a stellar job on the show but by no means as horrible as they showed. She did eventually bowl, dunk a basketball, and put on rings by color. It's just that she was stunned and slow so it didn't look good. They cut out all the good parts to justify losing. While I admit it wasn't her best performance, she did an outstanding job for a bird in such a situation and they showed it in the worst possible way.
I thought u were great on Americas got talent!! I could c that Kili was distracted, but I can tell u rite now and I'm not kidding, the second I saw u on AGT I freaked out!! I was like "That's Kili!!!!!!" I know that Kili is a wonderful parrot and ur fans on YouTube still love u and ur birds!!! I think u did great!!
sorry about america's got talent i think ur bird's really smart and talented :) i have a senegal so i know they can be moody especially around lots of ppl. i hope u werent too bummed u should definitely keep it up dont be discouraged.
@kiliparrot my budgie(sky) does not touch the sit when I'm target training him, he can step up well tough but when he's out of his cage, he just flies away from me and should I clip my budgies wings?

Now if I can only convince Turtle Bird that she, too can be a brilliant performing Sennie...
