A wonderful series. I can believe that airmen could be as naive as shown - they were after all an elite, not like most in the Army. If the police co-operated with the regime, well that's what police do, enforce the law of the land, they do not make the land's law. My grandparents were Occupied. Superb - I was captivated by this series and others in the seventies as a child, - My knowlage of WW2 is more than anybody I know.

Its like around the 30 year after point that they start to make movies about everything.

I think in the future we'll see some stuff about Iraq, Afganistan etc, etc, etc,
