  • Oh man, I died 3 times on this mission until figuring out how to do it properly exactly like how you did.

  • This mission requires 'Power Overwhelming'

  • My nipples explode with delight.

  • This mission likes to sodomize my face...

  • My god Zeratul really? Tricked two times by Kerrigan and he knew that Raszagal wasn't all there in the head when he and Artanis fought Aldaris. So why was he willing after knowing Kerrigan betrayed him before would he listen to her ever again?

  • @ipot399 He -really- wanted that pussy.

  • i killed the 3 bases like u i played def for like an hour and then i put dts in overload accompany with 50 mutas with full upgrades i attacked the def around the ovemind with muta while dts killed overmind took me 4 hours total long and tired mission

  • The easiest way for me to take out the combined orange force was to turtle my way in, while spawning broodlings out of all the tanks, ultralisks, and lurkers I could. Then I just sent in hydralisks, went back and forth for every attack, and took out that base. I took the island base last, however.

  • The bottom line with this mission is that whatever your strategy, you have to be fast and aggressive when you strike and be ready for any and all enemies' wrath when they try to take back your base. I may suck at micro, but the Queen's spawn broodlings ability can take out any ground unit in this mission so I used them as my base defense

  • @leethacks1 easily the hardest mission i've faced in just about every RTS i've played tbh.

  • wow... did you hop into star edit and tone down their AI or something? when i tried to beat it, once i've demolished the two bases on my island. the other bases are endlessly funnelling reinforcements through their overlords along with tonnes of guardians, battle cruisers, cloaked wraiths, mutas, you name it! as if that wasn't enough they have their valkyries and devourers running through my base ignoring the spore colonies and tearing up my overlords! its impossible to even leave your island!

  • @CerberusT93 do as i tell u: take out the 2 bases on ur island (this will take about 2 hours cause u need to def) then take out the upper base this is another hour then.... make many many many mutas full upgrades to em put 8 overloads full with dark tamplers go through side to the overmind island then: distract the def around the overmind with muta while dark tampler kills overmind it works!!! try this

  • @roots4lifetrue eh... thanks anyway but I kinda gave up on this mission a long time ago, I'm not a very good zerg player anyway... -_-

  • Zeratul and 2 others dark archons cannot phase from 1 prism!

  • This mission is really hard, been relying on heavy guardian, scourge, and dropping hydras.

Struggling to break the bottom combined orange white expansion but having no luck at the moment.

Get around 10 science vessels casting those stupid green clouds that kill all my units, while casting shields on their own, terran bc's are there too, and defilers flood the ground with dark swarm if you try a drop.

I would try going around and taking out the overmind directly cept for all the lurkers.

  • UED come back to the earth -_-

  • This is harder than SC2 Brutal.

This took me 1hour 30mins to beat with a bunch of save and loads...

  • When they cast dark swarm pull back hydras and send few ultras in there.

  • This mission was a pain...I've been trying for 2 days before finally breaking orange zerg/terran base. Here's how i did it:

1.Secure your your continent, expand to down right patch of minerals and gas on their continent, build nydus canals there (I didn't build any air units except scourge).

2.Put 2-3 parasites on orange overlords in their base, send 10 ultras and kill sunkens.

3.Broodling tanks and ultras, send 10 ultras again+50hydras+scourge/overlords

4.You win easy without orange base :-)

  • Anyway,just a kinda stupid question.

  • The two dark archons could of maelstromed kerrigan and zeratul could of killed her LOL

  • @orochimaruisugly But if that were to happen, then the UED wouldn't have any true threat in their mission to take over the Sector, and Starcraft 2 would have had a much different story.

  • Haha, very nice, tons of air units. When I tried that I either ran out of minerals before I could conquer the next base OR I got overrun by one of their many air raids with ten valkyries and mutas that destroyed my air units. Frustrating much.

  • you can easily destroy Dropships and Overlords together with their cargo. Also, don't forget that you can use Dark Templars for defense as well-they're great.

Why the Dark Archons didn't just Mind Controlled Kerrigan in the end?

  • @7heaven100 her psionic powers are too powerful , even to the dark archons thats the reason of why they couldnt control her

  • @overstrikestarkk Yeah, she has powerful psionic abilities but since she is a unit like the others,it should be possible. It doesn't say that you can't use it on hero units. If you Mind Control Aldaris in The Insurgent mission, you win automatically. The Overmind could control her

The reason is probably that it would be a lame idea for Kerrigan to be brought down that 'easily'.Plus, when a hero unit is to die story wise it is a lot more powerful than we knew it-Fenix for example :(

  • The most irritating and frustrating thing that happened to me was that I managed to take out the Terran and Zerg bases north and east respectively without difficulties but they kept sending reinforcements and reinforcements and reinforcements and reinforcements and after that..more reinforcements! I couldn't compensate of course and withdrew. But you can take them out early with two full groups of Hydralisks-just don't let them rebuild. Also,if you have Mutas Devourers and Scourge patrolling

  • Toughest Zerg mission ever I ever played.

One of my friends said that he finished this mission with the help of Terrans.

    How? By using 2 cheats.

    - a cheat for no damage and a cheat for auto-abilities research

    - use 2 Dark Templars and meld into Dark Archon

    - use Mind Control to steal an SCV and bring back to his base

    - disable 2 cheats

With Terran in his hand, he still found it very hard to beat this mission though.

  • I completed this mission a couple months ago and it took me less than 2 hours. It certainly wasn't easy, I didn't have any problems though. All i can say that speed is the essence. I took over their weakest bases as quickly as i could and basically controlled the pace of the battle since then. The things only get really nasty when you let them do with you what they want to.

  • two other words:

    OH SNAP

  • fcking long brifieg

  • Perkele! It is a finnish swear word and I said it quite loud when I finished this stage and the ending did not work, nothing happens. Oh my fucking god!!!

  • @Salamanter11 hahaha

  • This does not work. The CPU throws everything at me!

  • Just finished this mission, have to admit thanks to your video I figured out that Guardian Spam DOES work. When I was on a solid basis, I could sort of overrun more and more, slowly getting the upper hand, but wasn't sure if I win until 10 minutes before the end.

Certainly wouldn't want to replay this mission...

    Took me 2hrs8min btw...

  • I really suck at this level and so far I failed 20+ times. Thanks for helping me. I finally beat this in 55:44 (it was painful, alright. But it worked).

  • It took me 1 h 38 min to win this stage. I have had this game for 8 years, but i have never won it so i thought this summer its time.

  • I am watching these because I suck shit at the game and I'm going to go buy 2 when I finish watching

God I hope I can kill this cunt Kerrigan

  • @Vascor You don't unfortunately. The WOL plot is shit.

  • @Vascor hahaha your not alone!

  • Wow! That strategy works here huh? With all the AA they have. I guess with enough Devourers protecting your Guardians, you'll be fine.

  • @Sly88Frye It's a hit-and-run issue with the AI. You want to kill the defensive structures first since they rarely rebuild them and then flee and hit the army away from their defense. Yeah though - you need like 2 full groups of devourers to sidestep the ridiculous cooldown on devourer attack rate, especially if they hit you with their own devourers.

  • Thanks for the help. Well, I tried a different strategy and it worked. I started out with Hydras Lurkers to kill the Orange base on my island. I later got Ultralisks and Devourers, which sort of worked. I was able to take out the White base on my island. And then I later found that their combo of Devourers and Valkyries was too much for mine. I finished them off with Guardians, Hydras, and Ultras and some Infested Terrans. I had some Defilers too and I skipped the base on the small island.

  • I have been trying to complete this mission over 2 weeks now...i have tried EVERYTHING mass guardians/devouers....Hydra/ultra/infested terrans etc etc etc...nothing works overmind still haves about 1000hp when i die..and when im attacking my base gets raped by 15 guardians and like 10 siege tanks... HAAARD i cant understand how u make it look that easy with that less units :S Good work..any tips? :S

  • @highlights8D Play defensive and take out, at the very least, the three bases I did, in the same order (Terran on your island, then Zerg on your island, then the separate Zerg island). Then you can just send a huge air force down the bottom until they hit the eastern edge, then head north. If you're having trouble defending while even doing that, you could just surround your large island with spore colonies to prevent dropships from coming in.

  • @Kebooooo Yes. That's what I thought so, but I took all the bases and finish 3 hours and abuse save. I did not expand on the white.

  • @highlights8D In the very lower right corner is a MASSIVE mineral and gas patch with all kinds of resources. You can Nydus canal there and build lots of units from all your hatcheries. It's guarded by a few lurkers, so beware.

The enemy will try and take back their resource nodes all game, so protect them with hydras and ultras. Be sure to hit the siege tanks and stuff first. Also, when you see the enemy clustering for an attack - Plague them with Defiler.

  • @highlights8D There's thing called micro - ability to move your units in such a way to prolong it's survival eg lost viking. Consider nidus canal

  • @highlights8D

    SC R hard?

  • @highlights8D YOU'RE A NOOB

  • @Snakes0502 'ey, we were all noobs once.
