this is so bs....they dont really tell u everything about the u1...its only beneficial if u know what you wanna do and every faculty has set of requirements that you have to take to get into that faculty...so there is no option because if you want to get into your desired faculty..you have to take the required courses...and if you don't, sometimes you have the pick the courses that you missed and puts extra load on you in your 2nd year...yes..

I've taken over a dozen 1st and 2nd year courses and only one had less than 50 students. Also, U1 can easily add time and cost to your degree.
