The only thing that kept any of the crew from getting an oscar is the fact that there isn't a true Lead actor or actress in any of the 3 films. Everyone in the world knew that they wouldn't get those 2 oscars because the cast is such an ensemble instead of a group of people building one or two people up. Such a massive, mind blowing, world changing film. They proved Sir Tolkien wrong by making a monumental film of his legendary trilogy

gosh the commitment these actors give is just tremendous!!! they had to run and act like they were chasing a group of orcs with bad injuries, ones that are f-ing painful yet in the movie, they seem totally fine. this is an amazing cast with great chemistry (check out other interviews of them together!) and Viggo's radio impersonation is just too funny! XD

I have so much respect for Viggo Mortensen - he not only knows his characters inside-out, but he becomes them. Watch any interview of him on LoTR, The Road, etc.. He reads the books and knows the stories which makes every single one of his movies absolutely fantastic. Thanks, Viggo!

both Orlando and Viggo are great actors and they are very proffesional! One cracked his rib, the other broke his toes and the actor that played the small Gimli dislocated his knee! I can't even imagine the amount of pain they were in! And in the movies, you can't read a thing on their faces. No pain as long as they were shooting!

he said that Orlando fell off the horse which would do the trick by itself, but also Gimli's scale double fell on top of him. Ribs are very easy to break and there's really nothing u can do- it's not like u can put a cast on it.

I'm goignt to say it really resumed

I was sailing in a small boat (SunFish) and when the race ended I went to tie the boat up and a wave came and moved the boat back (and I has in the back of the boat helping some one) and by a corner or the boat it hit me right under my arm and straight in the fourth ribb. It didn't hurt at first but when I started sailing again it was painfull. But I won third place ^_^ it was like 3 years ago
