  • She's still the truth if you ask me. Love Janet

  • cute song xx

  • this is a lovely song thumbs up

  • I Loved the damita jo Album. It was grown and sexy album with some hot mid tempo stuff. I'm A TRUE janet fan since 1990 and I support her in ALL that she Does!!! GO TEAM JANET!!!!

  • @popprince86 once a fan always a true fan i like that i saw her show 2 times nothing compares to janet

  • THIS IS HOT. LOVE IT!

  • So smooth love it. Got that Janet vibe wher it make you smile when listenin to it!

  • @lokijordan Although I respect your opinion, I have to disagree. "Damita Jo" Is one of the best albums Janet ever made. It's shows versatility and growth. Sure, it's slower than a lot of her other albums, but i think that's the point. As far as dance music, she'll always include it, but It's hard to grow when you've been put in a mold and are expected to do things a certain way. She is a true artist and true artists try and push themselves with new things.

  • @sebastiancox I agree, i've been a fan since the 80's and this is one of the rare times she has put her self out there. THIS IS SOME OF HER BEST WORK.

  • @sebastiancox Damita Jo is by far one of the best R&B albums of all-time. And as for the dancing part, this track is one monster dancing track along with a lot of other tracks from the album. I'm a dancer who dances a lot by heart and I kinda lost my shine last week but I listened to these songs and I danced better than usually. Could this be love is one great dance song that saved me!

  • @lokijordan you are totally wrong... If you were real Janet fan and listened to all her albums you would know every album has great songs... Damita Jo "My Baby" "Island Life" and "Thinking About My Ex" were great songs 2.0 YO "Enjoy" n "Take Care" were great songs Discipline "Luv" "Discipline" and Curtains were great songs... She was black listed after the Super Bowl... but 30yrs n bizz n she is still goin strong

  • @lokijordan Alot of her songs for those cds were unreleased and so there are probably some you haven't heard yet. This one I hadn't heard in particular, "clap your hands," "roll with you," "pop up," "days go by" and plenty others. I'm mad because alot of these songs are old and people are just now hearing them. " roll with you" came out around the dancing era with "snap ya fingers" "white tee" soulja boy had just came out yullin. I feel her song would've been a hit too, if it was released here.

  • @Joy4EC Thanks for sending that track. I liked it more than a lot of what's on the Damita Jo collection. It's not that DJ was especially poor, simply that too many tracks sounded like polished tracks but not finished songs. Since Control, I've come to expect Janet albums with at least 2 bona fide hits and at least four other seriously hot tracks.

  • this song is so smooth - I particularly love her vocals from 2:37-2:40, & when she starts really "going in" to the end of the song...suh-weet!

Thanx so much for posting sebastiancox - took me a min, but I finally found a version that I can add to my JJ Playlist w/o the "Damita Jo" ending...just 4 mine & hubby's sake ~ kinda don't want him 2 hear Ms. Jackson velvety voice & get all distracted! Lol...no, seriously ~

  • love this song. too bad it was not on the copy of her damita jo album that i bought.

  • i just love this song, its so chill.

  • Love this joint!

  • Im so happy for my baby, Janet. I glad she finally found the true love, she's always been looking for. To see the hurt she went through in the Velvet Rope was touching for me. J if you read, ask JD does he have any brothers and get back at me lmfao.... Love you J!!!!!!!!
