Thanks Tauseef ji, for uploading this song .It is an amazing poem about life....so beautifully sketched by the writer and beautifully sing by Habib Wali Mohammad. Great composition too. If you can please add the names of writer and composer , as they also deserve the credit. Thanks again.
this song is for innocent ppl and is more directed to girls....in this song "bhanwra" is a flirt person.flowers are innocent girls and most probably having no experience of bad ppl."badal" in the song represent sensible friends.......but every person can see this song in his own prospective.
Mellowness and delinquence of nature captured and presented in song that is what this is. The power of music in soothing human souls in distress and well as in happy rest is what the lasting effect of this song is. Habib Wali Muhammad and Salman Alvi if toured India with their immortal ghazals would have emotionally unified Pakistan and India. Why sent unnecessary cricket teams, wasting time money and resources? Anyway language music and emotions are the same and undivided. Thanks for uploading.
A great ghazal by yet another great singer. Few people know that Habib Wali Mohammad is a US educated MBA degree holder. Moreover, he hails from the famous & rich 'Habib' family of the 'Land of the Pure,' owners of more famous Habib Bank and Habib Bank AG Zurich. He never charged anything for his God given singing talents. He is by far, my favorite singer since early school days in the 1970s. May God Almighty grant Habib Wali Mohammad long & prosperous life & good health. Aameen, Tsum Aameen.
This great Nazam was originally sung by Rafiq Ghaznavi and Amir Bai Karnatki in 1939.This is the Ditto Parody of the original.I never liked this kind of piracy. This is what I believe a crime.
Very sad.He also sung the great Ghazal by Moinud Din Jazby sung by Kishore of his very first Solo.Marne Ki Duaein Kuyon Mango..."
What is shameful about it? He has made it known to a wider audience.Plus this was song in 1970 about 31 years after the original was sung. There is a limit to copyright I believe.
The other ghazal you are referring to-the rights were obtained by the producer of the movie.See the post on another version.
@Muneeb58 lol. what about the dozen ghazals he sang that were later sung by others? I don't mind this unless the copy is by someone so untalented they butcher it. Habib Wali Mohammad made this more popular than it ever was.
I think this song was recorded in 1969-70 for the Pakistani Movie "Baazi". I have been looking for this song for a long time. Thanks for posting. You made my day.
what a wonderful rendering of a most beautiful song. it is one of my favourites. i had the pleasure of hearing him live at close quarters in 1972 in Bombay when he was visiting. he is a thorough gentleman who would sing whilst wearing a tie looking impeccable and most humble.
I also have had the pleasure of meeting this very down to earth humble man back in 1968 in Murree Pakistan for a coffee. I was in my mid teen and was very fond of his songs so one of my maternal uncles took me to meet him. I would like to meet him again. I understand he now lives in California, USA.
I dont what the heck is the problem with the "Phool". The "Bhowra", got up soundlessly from the "Phool" and drank the necter from other "Phools". "Pholoan men jitna rus that woh shori se pee gaya". What is the issue here with this "Phool". Jealousy I suppose?
See the lines are synbolic and refer to "zulm", "zaalim" aur "mazloom". This i svery deep poetry and one needs to have thorough nowledge of Urdu language, poetry and hieght of imagination of the poet!
Oh a tuneful old song. I remember it was picturized on Nadeem in film Baazi starring Nisho, Mohd. ALi & Nadeem. At that time it was considered a great Muqabla b/w M.Ali & Ndm. V used to enjoy watching such memorable films in Khayyam cinema, Nursery, Karachi...golden days golden songs
Absolutely brilliant. Has brought tears in my eyes. This is the song I grew up with. My Dad loved it and always had this cassette in the car when we were out driving. Habib sahib is a very decent man as well as a very highly educated person. We need more people with multi dimensional skills. Love and Peace
thx for posting this all time gr8 song by the gr8 HWM.
I totally agree with you humawar, same here this is the song I grew up with too, it remind me my childhood and broght tears in my eyes. My dad use to play his ghazal almost every morning.

Iam sure Habib wali Mohammad is the best
male vocalist of pakistan. The amount of
masculinity in his voice is a degree less than his Indian counterpart Mukesh the great.
This is a literally terrific song and Ilove it.Thanks pal for this lovely song.
Since my sister Tasneem mistakenly posted my
comments so I need to post my comments again.
