I have a pet deer named Bambi (my six year old cousins thought of the name) and he eats Cheetos and drinks root beer. He plays around with older kids and is very careful around younger kids. He cuddle with me in my backyard everyday at 2:30 while I either read or sing to him. If I don't pet him while we are laying in the yard he spazzes out. @roperboy56 I don't think they actually keep the deer as a pet. Notice the kids don't act particularly familiar towards the buck. He's pretty young and just wandered too far out from the woods. Also notice him trying to mark his tarritory(SPL?).
Judging by everyone's reaction the deer is just simply a wild one not bothered by the people.
The kid is like 6, I would be a little nervous too. The only deer I have experience with are the ones whose heads decorate myt wall, but the damn things are just so cute when their young.
