Does the Google Maps App not have the same functionality on any phone, even non-Android phones? Or are these just an Android-specific features, or Nexus S-specific features?

So..... Google got Samsung (a current competitor) to make them a phone that will compete with there own phones that run on Google's operating system AND gave them there new technology that will further devalue there current phones. WTF ?

@lucasjohny navigation has already rolled out to Australia and New Zealand cause I've used it so soon they'll have it. But my Locations app on my Desire Z still owns.

2)5 mp and 480p is more than enough, do u know how big a 10 min 720p movie 1gb.

3)512 Ram is enough,do u know sense ui use 200mb ram?

4)notification led is useless, if u want to know any message why dont u turn it on?

5)as you say dual core are around the corner, the means you dont have it, right?

6)HSPA+ is not necessary, 4g are around the corner, right?

Not true. Navigation worked great on my Nexus 1 while I was traveling in France last summer.

Hi Ken. Please remove the redundant and ridiculous +and- zoom buttons from Google Maps (and the Browser and Gallery for that matter). At this point, with multi-touch zoom, it's just embarrassing.

And yeah Android is open source, it's a shame you still have to hack most of the handsets to root them, exactly as you have to with the iPhone. So much for freedom.
