Hi Lee36bob. I have been doing martial arts for years so I was luckily flexible to begin with. I can tell you that my training partner (who was not flexible to begin with) stretched (usually the butterfly stretch) for about a year before he had the full flexibility for crackhead, double bagger, pulling off gogoplatas, etc. You just have to stick with it! :)
I love the song choice lol, its not some badass rap pr metal music the usual way. Its funky and not really serious , just how the rubberguard should be viewed in my opinion, good going and thanks!
@angelmanfredy OK, that explains it. Thought his guard passing, posture, footwork and arm placement looked "a little off" compared to a BJJ blackbelt:)
Ah, and looking at other bits of the video (its over a year old) Kon was leaning into my chill dog blocking me so I went for crackhead control and used my left arm to try and get the gag reflex sub (fist in the side of his neck) but it wasn't happening.
Hi Mofo. At the beginning I was just trying to keep his posture down using retard control (gable grip - poorly executed actually - behind my left ankle which means I could not go for New York. I was not really going for subs at the start so much as trying to control him.
I definitely know the value of keeping that hand to the mat! Nowadays, yes, I would go for crack head control or double bagger if he leaves that hand down there. :)
Thanks, JGandy12. Legends is being renovated but it will be back (maybe it is back now, I dunno). I have been to Burbank, Hollywood, and SF and recommend them all! Plus, the system is a blast :)
Unfortunately I don't know the name of the song, but I can tell you it is one of the free songs you can add to your videos through youtube. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
how long did it take you to get the flexibility and control to use crackhead control?

@OnixRose
One of those "saps" was a black belt (in full gi), if you watch the whole vid. Nice title, though. :P
