@Aykeybeatz dude thers gotta be a way, i was thinking of trying to just connecting the ds to a pc through the mic jack and recording the songs to a music rec software kida like playing guitar through the computer, does that make sence, you think that would work???
@Aykeybeatz there sorta is by u need to look for some software witch could record of like decks (djs) witch ive done befor with miney jest get the same cable plug into ds and computer and record it and then there you go
This game rocks! To friggin bad that always when i make a song (Let it Rock, Friends theme) the game gets deleted ( cause i've got it on a R4). I am bizzy now with the song Walking on the Sun by Smashmouth, but i cant find a good background sound. But this is a funny song. you are right, those limitations annoy me very much. but what are ya gonna do? Good job
I mean it could have bin better, i mean, it's alredy a great game, but like that you can have like 32 songparts in case of 16, and that you can do like 3 sounds at a time (not including drums) in case of 2. I also do have 2 gb, but thats not what i mean. They just could make the game 32 bit, and than it would have bin great, and still a small file, understand? Whatever, let's just live with the version we' ve got
The DS isn't so limited :P If, for example, you had 4, that sets you up to produce a proper track. I was able to produce a song using just one, but 4 of these things linked together would be teh awesome. I think a lot of homebrew apps are based off this (do a good job emulating at least one part or another of the Korg DS-10). Most people have their DS hooked up to one device or another (additional sequencers, etc.) and it's performing much better than the hardware it's based upon.
Well, I don't really know what you mean by just keep playing, The Korg DS-10 just does that of it's own or do you mean something else?
How long did it take, well cab't really tell, I would say 4 hours, With making this I now know all the instruments and their arrangement so I could do it alot quicker if I would try it again.
Great, you can run an RCA cable from the headphone jack on the DS to the microphone jack on your computer, then use a program like Audacity to get better sound quality if you want. keep up the great work!
It's true, the Korg DS is complicated at times, when your making a song with all those different patterns constantly repeating when you're editing them. But when hearing the result I think it was worth the work, Maybe when I have some time I'll make a new one, but too bad I'm very busy at the moment. A lot of work for school!
we have the same speakers :)

By the way, the game is only 8 mb - thats very small - ,they could at least make it 16 mb, so that there are not realy limitations. but whatever

Hmmm.
Krrraftwerk 3 years ago
