if i remember correctly, in the main menu options, you can choose your preferred character (or when you choose new game).

you'll play the whole game as that character.

but you can always still change in the main menu, not during the game

i have a trick to getting piles of money. go to the campaign in China do the sniping part in co-op and you will get $30 000 go down the hill to the hovercraft it will save then quit and keep doing this over and over again because it saves your money and you will keep getting $30 000 bucks and boardrandomguy the game only costs like $64 dont spend $110 somebodys trying to cheat you

L2 = precise aim
