I made this account only to tell you I think this is a true piece of art. I've seen a lot of Flame artists work, and this really is top notch my friend. Your composite is most excellent. Love the sequence with the book looking like it is draining the life around it into it.
The colours and overall lighting is well made too. The soundtrack for this is just pure brilliant, so brilliant that I made an .mp3 out of it and heard it for the past hour :)
@chico666ok Hey. Most of the autodesk systems are very similar. If you learn 1 you can quickly switch to another. For example - Flint is basically a Flame with a few features disabled
@dani360360 Yeah, I mean, After Effects is a great tool and I use it a lot myself, if you're good in it you could do it. This project was shot on a small HD camcorder, so there was a lot of compression on the footage which doesn't made the keying hard. AE can key quite good, but not like the power the Flame master-keyer gives you. Also when you have to do hardcore tracking AE falls out of the bus. I have yet to use a better tracker than the one in Flame. Hope that helps
Jip, its all done on Autodesk's Flame 2009. Only the cut was done on separate editing software, but was altered on the flame while working many times throughout the process. But yeah, its all Flame. Very powerful box
dude its indeed powerful.your work is supebe from vision to execution.Dude have you been trained on flame in your own company or did you use some DVDs or eveningf courses. I'd love to know. Any idea how much this software actually costs ? Please
@cannoir Hey There. To train on Flame, you're gonna have to get into a company that has one. FXPHD has the best training course on flame, check them out. But you will still need acess to a Flame to practice and for it to benefit you. Its a extremely expensive software cause its a total hardware solution as well. If you're gonna do hardcore compositing on a desktop pc, your best bet would be Nuke rather

@DIFCmedia correction - ... there was a lot of compression on the footage which DOES make the keying hard...

@DIFCmedia
