Jimmy what I said is bangal eyes doesn't make any sense in English unless you try to translate word-by-word. In order to make any sense sometimes lyrics and poems can be translated with different words to keep the sentiments. We say matia mou in greek which means my eyes but in english people dont adress my eyes in order to show their affiliation . they say my dear. think like that :)
