These soldiers' accounts make me wonder why the commonly cited Palestinian casualty counts of Operation Cast Lead make any distinction between civilian and combatant. If the soldiers say they didn't fight anyone, that the place was deserted, who exactly were the combatants?
@rfalfonse There is a mistake in your phrasing of the question because there is in fact proof that there were combatants. This is a technical definition of “proof”, that is, the proof that there were combatants is that the reports by the free press in the west say there were combatants. This is the proof and according to this global definition of proof no other evidence is necessary. Our dear leader and press have said it and so this immediately makes it “true”.
