CHEMRISK - a research company hired by the Corn Refiners has recently taken down it's YouTube page.
The removal was in response to negative public perception resulting from the high-fructose corn syrup ad campaign. Apparently it has become a liability to defend the sweetener.

I came to some similar conclusions a few months ago and gave up corn (you can do it too!!) Sure, you can only buy 10% of the choices at the store, but that just makes shopping easier once you've read all the labels! Not only did I lose weight, the ol' brain works better! Thank you for making the King Corn movie!
Higher prices are not going to end subsidies of any of the commodity crops. In fact the new US Farm bill is going to make sure that only commodity crops get tax money no matter that all the crops make a lot of money and are a part of everything most people eat. Corn, soy, canola, and cotton are the top commodities.
If the Senate's new "renewable fuels" mandate becomes law, get ready for a giant slurping sound as Midwest water supplies are siphoned off to slake Big Ethanol and America's economy will be forced to consume more than five times current ethanol production.
Heavily subsidized and absurdly inefficient, corn-based ethanol has already spiked food prices. The Senate's plan to hike production to 36 billion gals by 2022, from 7 billion today, will place even greater pressure on farm-belt aquifers.

I thought higher corn prices would be good to help end corn subsidies? That's a good thing, right?

Why not grow native Iowa drought tolerant prairie grasses and forbs? Raising beef on these grasses would also be much more healthy.

I will not comment on the film because I have not seen it yet, but it sounds as if it's another attack on production agriculture.
