  • it's not that bad, but you nead a bit more training

i think you had problems with the word "getäuscht" at the end

the "äu" part ist pronounced like "oi"

    keap going ^^

  • hey, I could understand everything ^^

what do you think is harder to learn

    german or español ?

  • You're cute,

really your german sounds good :)

  • haha it's funny to hear the accent but you did it very well. good job. I think when we in germany talk in english we have an horrible accent.

  • Sounds funny!! :-)

  • you should really go on lerning speaking germany. it sounds a little crazy. maybe you should listen to a german speaking german. but if you speak clearly, we will understand you.

    greetings from germany

  • Irgendwie leicht Niederländischer Akzent.........seltsam

  • ich verstehe dich...i understand you ;)

  • it's good but you have a light accent : ))

  • ok??? its not ok... its bad! sorry...

  • it's okay

  • not bad you are cute ;)

  • Not bad m8:-) What keeps you reading german books?

  • Your german isn't bad^^ And the accent.. the most german girls like it. it's cute ;)

    ______________________________________

  • äu is like oi :)

  • Ohhh, wie süß!!! very sweat accent ( mom is like mum , äu is like eu ) go on ;)

  • thats good :D the most people here will understand you :D

  • @kunstknabe everyone will understand him, was good!! :) ( i'm from austria)

  • haha you still have a lot of accent :D but dont worry! german people will understand you and if there are some ppl yelling around because of ur accent, just ignore them... i am german and make english videos, i have a lot of accent and i dont give a shit if ppl come "hey dude learn how to speak nooob" these are just idiots hahahah :D keep going, greetings from italy (the german part of italy lol)

  • i found 2 3 parts which could be better

first of all Its the first word. "Zuerst" but but you just say "Surst" 2 mistakes are in this word. in that word its no problem but for example if you want to say Zeit (time) but say Seit (since) its a different meaning.

Second Problem. sometimes you speak very english or even an english word that sounds nearly the same (example Idee - Idea)

last but not least sometimes you speak words with ..ch.. - ...sch... and h.... - ch....(hören)

  • I think you german accend is better than my english accend, so be happy :D .. there are just some rare words you speak out wrongly, everything else is good.

  • wie putzig *~*

  • you're adorable ~ <3

  • Of course we hear that you're not a native speaker, but we can understand you ;) Don't worry about your accent, there are so many accents in Germany that sometimes we can't understand each other :D

  • you understand what you read ??? hahaha but its great ;)

  • machst du echt gut:)

  • Klingt gut, dran bleiben!

  • Man versteht was du sagst. Aber man hört deinen Akzent

  • One questions: do you understand what you read?and:do you learn german?sry my english isn't well because I am 13 years old it was good but you've got a little bit problems with the letters ä,ö,ü right?thats not important.you did a good job for a american / english boy.german:

Eine Frage: hast du verstanden was du gelesen hast?

  • Fürn Engländer in deinem Alter nen super Akzent!

You can speak almost like an german boy.

  • ;-)

  • :D You have to keep learning the "ä" and the "ei" is pronounced as "I" in english ;) but I think you know that.

    but you're quite fast & good :)

  • Respekt er kann das " ü " aussprechen ^^

  • Comment removed

  • nice ;)

  • rrr einschreibe :D:D

  • Not bad. Seems to be hard for you to pronounce. Z and R are pronounced different and of course there are also completely new letters. Keep learning and you'll be perfect

  • re-einschreibe. :D i lol'd. but keep it up, it's not bad!

  • Not bad :J

German is awsome and difficult, your accent is typical English, keep learning !;)

  • klingt niedlich!

  • SÜß! :D

  • accent is very good. it sounds like people from uk for example that live for long in germany and remain their accent. its very neutral pronounced, so very good in my opinion. keep on going.

  • wow sehr gut weiter so :)

  • Just work a little bit on the "ch" and "sch" and "r" ant the aeiou then it is really good

  • Really nice, heard a lot of american guys speaking a worse german. It´s really good that you can speak the "ch" right, and also the "ü" in "blüht". But the word "Idee" is not spoken like the english word "idea". It´s spoken like "eedeh". The "äu" in the word "getäuscht is rightly spoken like "getoischt". But really good for a non-german guy ;) You just need a little more practise ;)

  • Hahahaha :D Sorry :D It's good, yeah. If you go like this to Germany, they'll definitely understand you, but probably laugh ;) (For example: Ä is not spoken A, alright? See that two dots up there?)

  • haha wie knuffisch :3

  • süß :D

  • waaaa you´re soo cute! do you understand what you read?

  • Hihihi, sounds soo cute ! :DD ♥

  • ich finds gut! can u unterstand what you read?

  • Suerst :D sie hat sich getauscht :D

    Anyway.. it's good :)

  • hihi, it sounds cute!^^ practising sounds like 'h' or 'äu' (it's pronounced like 'eu' or 'oi' ) and intonation and you will be very good! =)

  • You read a little bit like the goole-translator and the accent is pretty.

  • dein deutschakzent is echt süß=your german accent is really sweet

  • that was very good ... but you have to learn the letters ä,ö,ü :)

  • no problem dude, i think every german will understand you

but I'm not sure if you would understand every german ^^

  • @TheFreddynator42 yes... :DD but he did very well!!

  • i love german!!!!!!!!

  • CUTE!

  • your german is actually quit good.how long do you learn it

  • you're so cute, sorry :D

you read it very well and i think all the german girls will like your accent.

i have understand all words, it was nice :)

  • RRRRRRRRRRR-einschreibe.

  • sie hat sich getauscht xD

  • I have smile all the time. You are so cute but please shut up or speak english :))))

  • it doesn't sound terrible, it's sounds pretty good ;) many people like when you speak german with english accent :) but you're a cool guy and I love peolpe from other countries that learn german :) german is a tough language and you just have to practise ;)

  • Your 'ch' is a little bit wrong.. I don't know how to explain it.. Erm.. you pronounce it to much, just try to 'breathe' the CH out without giving it a pronouciation. (:

  • süüüüüüüß

  • das "ding"

  • its really funny to listen to u!:D Love it

  • you're doing good!

the only things you should try to improve are the ä, ü, ö and try to speak the z-sound a bit sharper. :D

keep the good work up! it will pay off one day!

  • @ManonVarendaz

    was ist deine muttersprache?

  • @damschu23 Meine Muttersprache ist französisch. Warum?

  • @ManonVarendaz

    It's better then my english

  • the "ich" and the "nicht" you could try to do better. you mostly said isch and nischt, but i know its hard

  • Jo mate ur german sounds pretty good ;)

But u cant compare german with a language like english cuz ur grammar is much more difficult like urs. (not offending) :D

Even American or British guys like Rey Garvey (he lives in germany for a long time now)

    have a strange accent sometimes.

The best way to practice ur german is reading books and listening to german E-books and all that stuff...

By the way ur german is better than the german of many turkish foreigns in Germany ;D

    greetz form Europe

  • @Bjzzle57 Warum redest du nicht Deutsch mit ihm?

  • @hardstyle905

    keine ahnung

  • I really love your german accent! It's so cute. I understand you very well. :) Greetings from Germany :)

  • very well!

Of course not perfect but wow!

  • Of course, it's always difficult to speak languages you learn by studing without any accent. Or with an accent of that language (strange sentences xD). But i think you should go on and learn, because i understand i think all of the things you've said^^ (and i'm from germany, that's the reason why, my english isn't so great^^' *must work on it* omg, it's horrible >_<') it's a great idea, to ask people from germany or who are born in germany, how your accent is^^

  • You probably speak german better than a few "germans" i see on the streets if you know what i mean^^ but you have to work on your "ä" but that seems to be a problem for the most english speaking people :)

  • my dad lived in germany for 15 years and hes not as good :D

  • Very good :) I understand you and your accent is definitely better than that of a looot of people that I know

  • I'm german and i can understand you pretty good and i think your german is really good but if someone's really telling you that you have no accent they're definitely lying to you :) listen to some german videos and you'll get rid of those little spelling mistakes :) and your speaking will get more clear and defined :)

    hope this helps :)

    tschauii :)

But your German is actually quite good:D

  • Ich liebe dieses buch!!!!

  • well i guess im not the best english-reader but i think you should practice more. You got talent. Some words aren´t correct but i can understand you :)

  • When I learn a bit more german ill post a video to I need to learn in 5months

  • good effort - you sound a bit lux (dutch french german)

you need to work on those "ch´s in word endings.. like Ich(i) mich(me)

You have to put more stiffness into the "z

-umzingelt(surroundet)you sond like"oomsinglet --do it like "oomtsingalt

-Zuerst(first of) you do it like "sooairst but you should try it like "tsooairst..

and do some more research by listening to some german music ..helped me a lot learning the english language:)

    hope it helps

    tschüss

  • you sound like a german speaking dutch =)

  • @xeon8519

    haha true :D:D

  • you are very cute.

  • I am from Germany, and understand you very well :-) your accent is really sweet, but I like it if you our language speak this sounds so sweetly:D

Sorry for my Englisch >.< its bad :DD

  • I like ur accent =D

but keep in mind that 'äu' is pronounced 'oi'

  • really good! I love your accent. It's cute :) <3 But you're way better than some german guys :D

  • these books are really good to learn the others language... i read it in english (i'm german) and i have to say, that things in english just sound much funnier :D:D you're really good! thumbs up =) nice greetings from the black forest =)

  • I`m very impressed, if people from other countrys learn our language. So, respect. It sounds very well.

  • sounds good :) i am german and your accent sounds so cute :3

  • Oh that´s quite ok :)) Also ich verstehe dich ganz gut, aber du musst manche Wörter etwas besser aussprechen...

  • Deine Aussprache ist größtenteils wirklich sehr gut!

  • quite good!!! also ich verstehe dich sehr gut!

  • Your German is quite well.

You speak better German, than I speak English xD

    You have a sweet pronunciation when you say "R". ( 1:30 )

  • not very good

  • "Von Idioten umsingelt"... handsome ;-)

  • @Maryondo that's right.... :D

  • Hey its quit Good !!! Grettings from Germanny!

  • not bad ;)

  • When you say something with "H" it sounds like "SCH" (like the most americans). Try to press the back part of the tounge up and don't close your mouth, show your teeth while saying it. But it's still pretty good. ;D

  • Well, it wasn't perfect, but it was way better than many supposed-to-be mother tongue germans in american tv-shows =)

  • Pay attention to i and r but otherwise it sounds good:)

  • @Benny100388 ganz leicht is gut^^

  • @Maryondo

'Cause the other 50% are turks^^

  • @NeonDeviantGenesis

Without comment... But thumbs up :P

  • A little bit like a Holländer :) but good

  • You should work on the rhythm of speech and which words to pronounce most. That's quite different in German. Well done, though ;)

  • good job but your accent is typical for americans

  • memoiren :D

  • I like your Scandinavia poster!!!!

  • Voll gut eigentlich :)

  • Ich als Deutscher, verstehe dich gut.

  • hört sich doch echt gut an :)

  • Comment removed

  • hört sich gut an eigentlich also man würde in deutschland auf jeden fall alles hinkrigen ;)

  • sounds a bit like dutch ( people of holland talk that) but its not bad at all and very easy to understand. i think you wont have any problems in the most parts of germany, austria and switzerland to comunicate...

  • @grafititurtle its because dutch is a mix out of german and english ;)

  • Sounds as if you type in a german sentence in microsoft sam.^^

  • na toll :D

  • Your German is okay. The most German will know what you mean ;b

  • könnte besser sein

  • cutie :D

  • lol typos >_< sorry! just wanted to add.

-keep it up. best way to practise is speaking with real germans. American german teachers come with a funky accent themselves, most of the time :)

  • well, this is a year old now. I hope people wenrent to mean. I think it need alot of courage to post this (germans love making fun of others). But being honest the accent wasnt very good. I am german/american, grew up with both languages. And lived 1 year in the states, and took a german class in highschool. So your accent isnt much better than most of them, but you were amazingly fluent at the way you DO pronounce things. Its not the total words where your mistakes are, but more single letters.

  • well, your german is bad !

  • haha, it sounds like you´re from swiss!

    but it is good (:

  • hahah dein Akzent ist ziemlich sexyy :D

  • Of course you pronounce some words the way you're used to do in English. Nevermind. --> blüht. ü = U-Umlaut. Perfekt ausgesprochen! --> getäuscht. ä = A-Umlaut. Tauschen = exchange. Täuschen = cheat --> hör(e)n. ö = O-Umlaut. Perfekt ausgesprochen. Buy some DVDs with a German Language option. 1. watch the movie in English 2. watch it in German with English subtitles 3. watch it in German with German subtitles 4. watch it in German Get used to the "melody" a language is about !! Good luck :o)
  • you speak very good german (;
