What you see is a clay model of Google Earth not the real deal and when you click to move closer it is then a CGI model but it is not real. When you look in and around this "square" there are intersecting lines althroughout the area. This square is huge and there are lines or "roads" just west of the Straights of Gibraltar" too. That whole area is up for investigation , thanks to Google!! If you go north up to Iceland you will notice an interesting chasm just east of Iceland. You're definately on to something. This is the area the Bible and all other historical books say Atlantis was (is) located. I think you're right on! Maybe the platforms abouve the water was a circular but foundations was stone huge cubes squires. Its must be a very old foundations that was sunken a long time before - around 10 000 - 15 000 bc. They are certainly NOT structures. the southern edge of this anomaly is over 100 miles in length. The estimated total area of this region is 7500 sqr miles. Even the smallest visible grid squares covers an area of over 90sqr miles. the total area of La Palma island is only 262 sqr miles. Do you really think this is a structure? REALLY???

No reason for Atlantis to not have existed in reality archeologists are just beginning to explore underwater sites around the World. There are many places where archeological finds have been found to go miles under water. This is due to rising sea levels over the millenia. Britain was once joined by land to France and much of the Meditteranean basin was land also. We are just beginning to uncover underwater remains, so it might be a hundred years before you get a good answer.

@Chyrre how are u so sure it sunk? remember there was something called ice age? that means a lot of the water in the oceans today was concentrated in ice caps, which means, sea leven must've been hundreds of feet lower than it is today. im talking about roughly 12.000 years ago, so maybe it got covered in water rather than sinking into the bottom of the ocean. to people withnessing that event, from their point of view, it must've looked like everyting was sinking. think outside the box

What you see is a clay model of Google Earth not the real deal and when you click to move closer it is then a CGI model but it is not real. I managed to find out with National Geographic on this for it does not exist in their underwater charts. Sorry but I was fooled too. Go to Greenland and you will see a strange orange structure there that is a film negative and a huge finger print. Google F***ed up, whoops!

When you look in and around this "square" there are intersecting lines althroughout the area. This square is huge and there are lines or "roads" just west of the Straights of Gibraltar" too. That whole area is up for investigation , thanks to Google!! If you go north up to Iceland you will notice an interesting chasm just east of Iceland. Zoom into the 20 mile mark and you will notice some interesting lines there too. Certainly not made but our technology!!

I'm not saying I believe there is any correlation to Atlantis here, but when you think about it the term Atlantis means Isle of Atlas and it's it's a bit off from Morocco where the Atlas mountains are... You're definately on to something. This is the area the Bible and all other historical books say Atlantis was (is) located. I think you're right on! The Island Kingdom of Atlantis was located just outside the Pillars of Hercules. Anyone with rudimentary knowledge of history knows that the Pillars of Hercules is referring to the modern day Rock of Gibraltar located at the entrance to the Atlantic Ocean from the Mediteranean Sea. it is possibly a city. Prohaps was built on dry land during the ice age, but as the ice receded and the water levels increased the city was submerged. Only way to tell if it is a city or some natural under water formation is to go and take a look.

If the Google Earth explanation (sonar boat paths for mapping data) were actually true then the ENTIRE sea floor would be ENTIRELY COVERED with them to compile the Google Earth sea floor map data.
