  • Home come in all of these old game videos somebody has to talk through the whole thing? Sheesh!

  • I have this game on Commodore 64 and still play it from time to time :)

  • i played this on my ccomodore 64 and said i was doing space study home work hehe

  • Hey, I am about the same age as yours and just like you I was a kid standing in an arcade, intently watching someone else playing video games. And Moon Patrol is one I remember vividly. It was in early 1980s, and I was in a small town in countryside Japan. It's kinda pleasing to see someone in the other parts of the world who has a similar narrative. Thank you for sharing.

  • I can´t believe it ! This arcade game has the same magic. It´s more than a classic. I played it during those long summer time days.

  • You can complete the mine section without moving though ;) but to get a bigger bonus you can move forward and speed up on certain sections of the mines.

  • I play it for Hours on my C64. First i playd it on a bar on Arcade machine. An Older boy make me the minefield stage i everytime blew up!

    It must be in 1984

    Oh my God!!!!

  • Yay! Parallax scrolling!

  • @mcossy Precisely. I was surprised that it wasn't stated as a key feature, which I think it was. The wheels and the soundtrack are good too, but the parallax scroll is where it made gaming history.

  • @Ragnemalm City Connetion is another great game

  • Omg, I hated it so much when i died in it because it was so hard to get further in the game. At some point you had those plant-like creatures, if I'm not mistaken, that you had to kill or jump over.

  • Moon Patrol is the greatest scrolling game ever! Prometheus gave man fire, but Williams gave us MOON PATROL!

  • That was a good commentary. BTW, I was one of those guys who would show off in the mine field, heheh. You can actaully double jump some of those mines, and once you have the field memorized, you can tear through in full tilt for a record.

  • i love this game. where can you buy the arcade machine today?

  • Thanks for the memories! I had forgotten the green city in the (scrolling) background - which was my favorite part. We just need more of that soundtrack!

  • One of the best games i ever had the pleasure of playing when i was a kid in the 80's 11 outta 10

  • this game had a very 80,s retro sounds,....

think about it just takes you back..

  • GREAT

  • Fun game. They've got it on one of the Collection CDs for the PS1, but I've never played it in an arcade.

  • good game have u cleared champion's course?

  • cool game Mr do is the best
