  • not a sleeper... it looks fast... it sounds fast... it is fast

  • i have an '82 gt in storage, bought it for $680 with a blown 7.5" rearend, its a 4spd w/ a fuel injected 302HO from a later stang, other than that its all original and still has factory plastic on the rear seat, my first car was an '82 GL 5.0 4spd, loved it! nice clean car btw...

  • The 82 GT was one of the most impressive of all the Mustang GT's. Bought mine in the Spring of 82. Heads turned for miles. It felt great to cruise in one of the fast Mustangs produced in years. At least for that year she was king of the road. Getting one back is going to be harder that getting the first one. This Car is Cherry, For Sure, Thanks for posting it.

  • exhaust set up?

  • @RISKStudioProduction Thanks for asking.BBK shorty headers,BBK off road H pipe,and single chamber flowmasters.

  • @hlb53 thanks its been hard finding a set up i liked. this sounds nice though.

  • @hlb53 Those are the only wheels that look good on a four eyed Fox. The '82 GT is fast becoming my favorite of the Fox Stangs (except for the SVO) especially black w/ red. Good to see one given the respect it deserves.

  • very clean

  • it is a nice car. i am glad to see that they are still out there. i have an 83 myself. have had it for 20 years now, but it has fallen into disrepair. wife and kids come first, and the poor old car has to take the back seat to BUDGET. it sucks, but that is life.

  • i love this body style, the only thing i dont like, is the rear spoiler, and the teail lights, i would put a spoiler off of a 93 mustang gt or cobra, and the tail lights out of a 93 mustang. Nice car sounds great.

  • beautiful machine

  • They GT came with fog lights in 82. That is just the answer to TwO2ThAt. I had an 82 model GT, bought it in West Memphis, Ar. My first new car. Unlike this one, I wanted to but never changed to a bigger wheel and change the deck lid. I like the changes but it brings the value down although if I had mine back it would not make any differance about the value of it because it would not be for sale.

  • cool stang

  • Thats one great looking and sounding stang. Best looking Fox was 79-82. They should have kept how the rear looked on these until the end of the Fox in 93.

  • Nice car, but when I got my grand national that is a true sleeper.

  • Thanks everyone for your comments.

  • @hlb53 hey wsup man did you buy those fog-lights or did it come with them im trying to find sum for my 82 i got a video for it if u want to check it out

  • I had a 82... mine was a lil rough so i sold it and kept the motor cuz its got a built motor. Now I have the ugliest foxbody... the 86... but im just gonna try and find a 82 front end and hood to put on it and nobody will know the difference lol

  • thats the thing about these mustangs that I like. You can just mix and match parts

  • agreed. i want one too, im working on trading my 91 mark vii for an 82.

  • agreed ... the 82´ had an aggressive style ... it was the best foxbody mustang.

  • thats one hell of a sleeper man...awesome
