  • Same here - exactly! I started with the Green Mile, as well. Frank was the best.

  • Frank made the Green Mile 10 times better for me than the great book it already was and I soon found myself listening to audio books purely because he was the narrator.

    RIP

  • In my opinion, nobody is as good in their field as Frank Muller was in his. He was incredible at capturing each character. Most narrators treat every "40ish year old guy" with the same voice, but Frank put nuance into every character.

I think his readings of the first four Dark Tower books are absolute masterpieces. RIP Frank, you went far too soon.

  • The best ever.

  • one of the best..... the way he read great expectations was unbelievable. rip..

  • @sosincerex Not "one of the best", THE best

  • I would get books I wasn't really interested in just to hear his voice. He's sadly missed. RIP Frank.

  • Oh my dear I loved this man's voice! The audio book version of Stephen King's Dark Tower series, which Muller narrated were incredible. Never have any other book series met such a fine match in such a fine narrator.

  • Frank Muller reading "The Great Gatsby" got me through some rough times, and helped me maintain faith in my dream of being like Jay Gatsby--but by doing it the RIGHT way. Please, God, let him be in heaven.

  • All of his Dark Tower character voices were wonderful but the voice he used for narration drove me crazy. It was far too gruff and formulaic imo. It reminded me of t.v. commercial for a motor-cross or monster truck rally. That being said Mr. Muller was one the best. Requiescat en pace.

  • His Eddie Dean voice was superb. I really started to enjoy the Dark Tower series the most when he started reading that character.

  • When did he pass.

I could not praise him enough if i tried there was something extraordinary in him ,i can not say it was this or that. But its simple i liked him

If god allowed men to keep their voices in heaven he'd be seated next to the big guy. wouldn't he just. Now i wouldn't actually mind going to heaven.beam me up scotty

  • @jappud It's even worse if you're a fan of the Dark Tower series by StephenKing. Muller did the first 4 out of the 7 books and wasn't able to do the last 3. The voices of the people in the story are HIS and I'm sad that he died and couldn't finish.
