Oswald is supposed to have used a Carcano M91/38 - 6.5mm bolt-action rifle with a 4x scope, rifle notorious for two faults; 1. bolt action jams, especially when operating the action quickly, and 2. Hard extractions, where the casing expands in the breech and partially jams, especially on third 3rd and subsequent shots during rapid fire. He is supposed to have aimed and fired three shots in 5.6 seconds (max) at a moving target 88 to 120 yards away. Very difficult, even for a good shooter.

Inconsistency 1: most people who discuss "basic physics" when it comes to the assassination obviously don't know basic physics! A 200-gram bullet traveling 2,000 fps hitting a 12-pound head would cause a transfer of momentum of 1 to 2 inches, not the 10 inches or so here. There were scores of people who would have loved to take him out, I think this is why there is so much cross cooperation involved.
Frame 313 shows a 3 foot high stream of blood spatter traveling to the right of JFK. If the shot came from the front wouldn't the blood spatter travel in the opposite direction?
Clearly the shot came from behind due to the fact it was the front portion of his head that blew away. If a shot came from the front, the back of his head would have been blown off. Also if the shot was to have come from the grassy knoll, the opposite side of his head would have blown off. I don't understand why people deny thins even though it is on film
@tyrusvirus1 you can't go by just one piece of evidence-you have to take into account other pieces of evidence such as the 40 or so people at Parkland Hospital who said that JFK's wound was in the back of his head. When I watch the Zapruder film, I see a point of entry at the right temple and brain matter exiting out the back. The two motorcycle officers to JFK's back left got hit in the face with brain matter and blood, and one parked his bike and run up the hill to the stockade fence.

As for the officers being hit in the face with brain matter, they were driving forward right into the "debris" so that does not shock me that they would have been covered in blood and tissue. The time between the 2nd and 3rd shots heard on the audiotape and reported by witnesses WAS FAR TOO SHORT to have been the result of a lone shooter using a bolt-action rifle. Period.
Amazing!!! You are right, the x rays are totally fake!! I have spent hours watching videos of witnesses that never talked or were just ignored. Somebody should have the balls to order a new investigation, like the cold cases. If not to find the assassin at least to clarify how he died. Millions of people deserve an explanation.

Have any of you people still hanging on to the old "back and to the left" arguement ever read any of the multiple studies about this? Let me sum it up. Kennedys body COULD NOT have moved forward due to the large corset like back brace he wore due to his injuries suffered during WWII. Also, if you watch the Zapruder film you clearly see his head move down and forward when the bullet hits and THEN gets thrown back due to the force of the bullet smashing out of his skull, above his right temple.

i believe there was a conspiracy and a grassy knoll shooter, but that head shot looks like it came from the rear. i have a lot of experience as a hunter, and i have seen footage of tests proving a head or other objects can propel back toward the source of the shot.
its not a clasp. anyone who says it is...is uninformed. i have read x-rays for 25 years, trust me, its not a clasp. the object's shape resembles part of the sella turcica/sphenoid bone. the image itself is not of diagnosic quality. trying to make absolute determinations based on these images of the x-rays and not the x-rays themselves is a fool errand.

on x-ray studies "cropping" is actually done by columnation. the columnater allows you to adjust the vert/horiz aspects of the beam that will be exposing the film. i routinely have columnated out areas of no diagnostic interest or areas i dont wish to unnecessarily expose, such as the eyes on a lateral cervical spine projection. dont know if that helps.

Kennedy's head clearly moves forward at impact and all the brain matter, blood, and skull that is ejected to the forward and right, forces the head backward. That shot originated from a lower level floor of the Dallas County Records Building. Furthermore, JD Tippitt's corpse was used as a stand in for some of the Kennedy autopsy photos and x-rays. @squirevet it's possible a shot hit JFK's head from the rear also, but the fatal shot captured on frame Z313 comes from the right front, as evidenced by the fact that brain matter and blood hit the motorcycle officer to the back left of JFK. That wouldn't have happened with a shot from the rear.

I did research on this and I did find the gumen on the grassy knoll. The gunmen was behind the pillar just behind Mr.Zapruder and I have the proof on this. The nix film shows the shot to JFK head and even Gov.Connally got shot by the last shot fired that day. Again I have this proof.

The pic of Kennedy on the morgue table is NOT Kennedy. It is JD Tippit, the DPD cop shot minutes later. There is proof. The right side ear damage happened when he fell to the street on that side of the head after being shot.

@cyberwing777 the angles do match up. You should look at the independents tests done a couple of years ago and featured on the Discovery Channel. Technology can now be used to duplicate the shots and confirm the shots which hit Kennedy and Connelly did line with the 6th floor of the Texas School Depository.
@GOODY61 I don't buy into those computer animated specials by the Discovery Channel. They are all fudging the numbers and angles to fit the Warren Report, which is a complete fiction. Look at my video part 2 with the picture from the sniper's nest-you can see the angles of the shots don't line up. If JFK had been hit in the back of the head from there, the exit wound would have been in his LEFT temple. It doesn't fit, sorry.

Remember the magic bullet was the no # 1 red flag issue the conspiracy advocates had with the Warren Commission report. Now we realize many in the conspiracy manipulated the diagrams inside the car to persuade people it was a magic bullet. It is now proven the bullet travelled a straight line.

Remember the bullet was found on a stretcher not related to JFK or Connally, and it had no blood or tissue on it. Also it had little damage, but the most damning thing is more metal was found in Connally's arm than was missing from the bullet. How can that be? It simply can't.

@GOODY61 Those tests concluded that the shots could have come from the TSBD or The Daltex bldg. There is a 8-10 deg. difference in the angle hence the trickery of researchers like Dale Myers (beyond the magic bullet) who moved JFK up several feet and Conally in 6" for his voodoo geometry animation. The researchers (if they are the same as those in the Secret KGB...Video hosted by Roger Moore) want to have it both ways but it makes no sense. It had to be one or the other.
I think the bullet entered on the side of the neck which is why he was still able to move at that point, it exited the throat because of the angle from the building to the vehicle on the road. The same bullet hit Connelly through the car seat. You can watch this happen on other YouTube videos as both men react to being shot by the same bullet from behind.

JFK clearly reacts well before Connally to being hit-the angles do not match up, the wound in JFK's back did not go thru according to the initial autopsy exam, and the Parkland doctors all said the wound in the front of JFK's throat was an entrance wound. And then there is the ridiculous single bullet theory...
@theloosegoose333 Another issue with referring to the shot traveling from the back to the front is the position of the wound on Kennedy's back. Several others, as well as Kennedy's private physician documented his back wound being located 5 inches down and to the right of the neckline. If the exit wound was at the base of the throat, the trajectory would be inconsistant with a shot from behind.
i lived in Dallas. I was a big time Conspiracy person. Read everything talked to everyone Police, Doctors, Others on the street outside the SBD. The 6th floor musem. Has pictures of the Shells of Oswalld's .38 (oddly some are FMJ some are lead). I would see Dr P. Peters walking around. (ER doc that treated JFK). The Dallas ER and Bethesda Md did meet in the 70s. They have no problem with the photos. The picture of JFK rear head missing and then the Dr holding JFK head up by his hair bothered me

I was pointing out that the people who believe the driver shot jfk, based on Z-film footage, would have to agree that the driver is not turned around in his seat with a gun pointing at jfk at the moment this photo was taken from the other side of the road. Ok, that photo shown at around 02:10 - has anyone looked to see if there is something held by the driver at that moment that looks like a pistol/pop gun? Supposedly the final shot just happened at the moment the photo was taken, but the head hadn't quite exploded yet. I think its possible that a few different shooters may have hit Kennedy at this moment from different angles, causing the head explosion.

If those folks who think that the driver had a gun(i dont think he did btw)...based on the Zapruder footage, then surely they'd be able to point out such a gun in this photo, from the opposite angle, as it was taken at the time he should have been turned around facing Kennedy with a gun.
@sydfan526 my initial response was sarcastic. Plenty of people have said they thought they saw a gun in the driver's hand. This is probably the most researched and scrutinized event in history, so for someone to now be positing a 'new' theory is unlikely. Someone more than likely has thought of it, no matter how bizarre it is.

Eyewitnesses claimed many shots from multiple directions - they can't have all been wrong. I believe shooter 1 was in the TSBD, no. 2 was behind Zapruder and 3 (last chance) was near overpass behind trees on GK. This is why limo slowed - to make sure the job was done. Oswald was, indeed, a "patsy."

The video on Youtube that is the proof of the single bullet theory is in the suggestions list on the right of this page called [Beyond Conspiracy - Kennedy assassination]. In it you can see clearly with your own eyes the second bullet fired (the first one to hit true) hits both JFK and Connally as they both react as if hit at the same time. You can see Connally's jacket blown out of position from the bullet that just exited JFK's throat. They got the sniper location right but is there just one?
@bodasactra When you look at a picture of the front of Connaly's coat, the bullet hole is no where near the lapel, Dale Meyer's claims the bullet made the lapel flip open, have no idea how that would happen since i would estimate the hole as being 4-5 inches from the lapel.
@whatdidulearn I think a better indicator of when Connally was hit is the puffing of his cheeks, a clear indication of a collapsed lung. That happens many frames after, and clearly after JFK was hit proving they were not hit by the same bullet.

Dale Meyers claims the jump seat is 6 inches inboard of the door, which would line JBC up with the lone nut scenario, however every picture I have seen of the limo shows the back of the jump seat against the door not 6 inches away.

Stop this video at 2:28/02:29 and look at the area near the tree and wall on the grassy knoll. As far as Im concerned, that is Jack Ruby standing behind the wall near the tree taking the shot. National Geographic published this shot in much larger detail in January of 2010. This one is solved. Ruby also shot Oswald because he knew Oswald could pin him and the reason why JFK waskilled on the right people.

The trajectory wouldnt be exactly the same but it sure wouldnt have changed enough to miss Connolly and the interior of the car. And it sure shouldnt have fragmented. The first bullet to hit Kennedy and Connolly didn't and it did far more damage to bone than the head shot did, and yet its hardly misshaped.
@whatdidulearn WDUL, I believe a Connelly was being pulled down by his wife just before the head shot (at least that is what they said to the WC); also I believe fragments of the bullet struck the interior of the windshield to the point that it had a large crack in it. If you look at the white house garage pics of SS-100X after the assassination, you will see bloodstains and damage to the inside of the windshield next to the rear-view mirror. Just FYI
Cyber, actually I don't have a problem with JFK's head snapping backward if the shot forced his chin to bounce off his chest. However, the head would have had to snap back toward the application of force (the gun), but instead of snapping backward and to the right, the head snaps backward and to the left. Hmmm.....

The 3rd bullet entered JFK's head from behind. The force of the bullet exiting out of the front of his head is what caused the "explosion" and is what caused his head to fly "back and to the left".

Oswald is supposed to have used a Carcano M91/38 - 6.5mm bolt-action rifle with a 4x scope, rifle notorious for two faults; 1. bolt action jams, especially when operating the action quickly, and 2. Hard extractions, where the casing expands in the breech and partially jams, especially on third 3rd and subsequent shots during rapid fire. He is supposed to have aimed and fired three shots in 5.6 seconds (max) at a moving target 88 to 120 yards away. Very difficult, even for a good shooter.

Inconsistency 1: most people who discuss "basic physics" when it comes to the assassination obviously don't know basic physics! A 200-gram bullet traveling 2,000 fps hitting a 12-pound head would cause a transfer of momentum of 1 to 2 inches, not the 10 inches or so here. @tyrusvirus1 you can't go by just one piece of evidence-you have to take into account other pieces of evidence such as the 40 or so people at Parkland Hospital who said that JFK's wound was in the back of his head. When I watch the Zapruder film, I see a point of entry at the right temple and brain matter exiting out the back. The two motorcycle officers to JFK's back left got hit in the face with brain matter and blood, and one parked his bike and run up the hill to the stockade fence.

Kennedys body COULD NOT have moved forward due to the large corset like back brace he wore due to his injuries suffered during WWII. Also, if you watch the Zapruder film you clearly see his head move down and forward when the bullet hits and THEN gets thrown back due to the force of the bullet smashing out of his skull, above his right temple.

on x-ray studies "cropping" is actually done by columnation. the columnater allows you to adjust the vert/horiz aspects of the beam that will be exposing the film. i routinely have columnated out areas of no diagnostic interest or areas i dont wish to unnecessarily expose, such as the eyes on a lateral cervical spine projection. dont know if that helps.

The head shot seen in frame 313 came from the rear, but it was not fired from the Depository. Kennedy's head clearly moves forward at impact and all the brain matter, blood, and skull that is ejected to the forward and right, forces the head backward. That shot originated from a lower level floor of the Dallas County Records Building. Furthermore, JD Tippitt's corpse was used as a stand in for some of the Kennedy autopsy photos and x-rays. If you move them to the right positions the bullet has to either be zigg zagged or the bullets trajectory has to be changed. I vote trajectory over zig zagging. JFKhistory site makes this plain as well as many other sites that expose Myers as a fraud. We also know the at least dubious way bullet found.

@GOODY61 speaking of manipulating the diagrams: have you seen how Dale Myers scrunched JFK all the way up against Connely's seat and moving it to the right in order to get his 3-D imaging to work? If you move them to the right positions the bullet has to either be zig zagged or the bullets trajectory has to be changed. I vote trajectory over zig zagging. JFK history site makes this plain as well as many other sites that expose Myers as a fraud. We also know the at least dubious way bullet found.

@GOODY61 Those tests concluded that the shots could have come from the TSBD or The Daltex bldg. There is a 8-10 deg. difference in the angle hence the trickery of researchers like Dale Myers (beyond the magic bullet) who moved JFK up several feet and Conally in 6" for his voodoo geometry animation. The researchers (if they are the same as those in the Secret KGB...Video hosted by Roger Moore) want to have it both ways but it makes no sense. It had to be one or the other.

I think the bullet entered on the side of the neck which is why he was still able to move at that point, it exited the throat because of the angle from the building to the vehicle on the road. The same bullet hit Connelly through the car seat. You can watch this happen on other YouTube videos as both men react to being shot by the same bullet from behind.

JFK clearly reacts well before Connally to being hit-the angles do not match up, the wound in JFK's back did not go thru according to the initial autopsy exam, and the Parkland doctors all said the wound in the front of JFK's throat was an entrance wound. @theloosegoose333 Another issue with referring to the shot traveling from the back to the front is the position of the wound on Kennedy's back. Several others, as well as Kennedy's private physician documented his back wound being located 5 inches down and to the right of the neckline. If the exit wound was at the base of the throat, the trajectory would be inconsistant with a shot from behind.

Ok, that photo shown at around 02:10 - has anyone looked to see if there is something held by the driver at that moment that looks like a pistol/pop gun? Supposedly the final shot just happened at the moment the photo was taken, but the head hadn't quite exploded yet. I think its possible that a few different shooters may have hit Kennedy at this moment from different angles, causing the head explosion.

Eyewitnesses claimed many shots from multiple directions - they can't have all been wrong. I believe shooter 1 was in the TSBD, no. 2 was behind Zapruder and 3 (last chance) was near overpass behind trees on GK. This is why limo slowed - to make sure the job was done. Oswald was, indeed, a "patsy."

The video on Youtube that is the proof of the single bullet theory is in the suggestions list on the right of this page called [Beyond Conspiracy - Kennedy assassination]. In it you can see clearly with your own eyes the second bullet fired (the first one to hit true) hits both JFK and Connally as they both react as if hit at the same time. You can see Connally's jacket blown out of position from the bullet that just exited JFK's throat. They got the sniper location right but is there just one?

@bodasactra When you look at a picture of the front of Connaly's coat, the bullet hole is no where near the lapel, Dale Meyer's claims the bullet made the lapel flip open, have no idea how that would happen since i would estimate the hole as being 4-5 inches from the lapel.

@whatdidulearn I think a better indicator of when Connally was hit is the puffing of his cheeks, a clear indication of a collapsed lung. That happens many frames after, and clearly after JFK was hit proving they were not hit by the same bullet.

Dale Meyers claims the jump seat is 6 inches inboard of the door, which would line JBC up with the lone nut scenario, however every picture I have seen of the limo shows the back of the jump seat against the door not 6 inches away.

Stop this video at 2:28/02:29 and look at the area near the tree and wall on the grassy knoll. As far as Im concerned, that is Jack Ruby standing behind the wall near the tree taking the shot. National Geographic published this shot in much larger detail in January of 2010. This one is solved. Ruby also shot Oswald because he knew Oswald could pin him and the reason why JFK waskilled on the right people.

BTW, the body on the morgue table is the cop JD Tippit, who was said by his own family members to resemble JFK. The Z film shows JFK's face exploded out. Where is that damage on the morgue picture? The bullet that struck Kennedy in the head should have exited and hit Connolly. Why didn't that happen? The trajectory wouldnt be exactly the same but it sure wouldnt have changed enough to miss Connolly and the interior of the car. And it sure shouldnt have fragmented. The first bullet to hit Kennedy and Connolly didn't and it did far more damage to bone than the head shot did, and yet its hardly misshaped.

@whatdidulearn WDUL, I believe a Connelly was being pulled down by his wife just before the head shot (at least that is what they said to the WC); also I believe fragments of the bullet struck the interior of the windshield to the point that it had a large crack in it. If you look at the white house garage pics of SS-100X after the assassination, you will see bloodstains and damage to the inside of the windshield next to the rear-view mirror. Just FYI

It's just that I spent over 100 hours re-editing the 1930 Dracula film, taking off the original speech/soundtrack and over dubbing a modern comedy one that matched the mouth movements of the original actors. As you can imagine I got very familiar with speech. I built the soundtrack up pretty much word by word - I have an ear for it now - and I couldn't hear the edit. Plus you said it mid sentance after a slight pause.

But your films are very enlightening, especially the x rays. Tho I will say they at autopsy they pull the entire face down to reveal the skull which can be extensively damaged beyond the open wound, then pulling the face back up covers this. JFK's trauma was so great the fractures would have spread under the skin

.....cont....the skin when replaced will retain its former shape even with obliterated skull underneath. The face is quite thick, it's like a rubber mask. Not saying these are JFK's xrays but there's an explanation for skull damage under undamaged skin.

The 3rd bullet entered JFK's head from behind. The force of the bullet exiting out of the front of his head is what caused the "explosion" and is what caused his head to fly "back and to the left".
Much like when the 2nd jet entered the WTC building on 9/11. It went in like a hot knife into butter, and came out with an explosion.
Put a large grapefruit on a stand and shoot it. The force of the "exit wound" will make it fall back toward you. THAT is physics.

@GailPCooke Because it shows who far people will go to protect their intrests. And this isn't the only example from the past. The point is, that we can learn from the past. The most important thing I have learned is that some people will stop at nothing and have the means to cover up findings like this. People high up in our societies. @GailPCooke I think people just want to know the truth. I mean, people are still studying the Lincoln assassination and the other night I saw a show discussing whether "King Tut" had been murdered! Yeah, guys that gunned down JFK (be it Oswald or someone else) are dead now too... but when a leader is struck down, especially when the killer isn't caught at the scene with a gun in his hand (see Pres McKinley and Garfield), then people want to know if killer was brought to justice. My take...

Because he was a GrEAT President. I care and if it can happen back in 1963, it can happen again. Our country changed irrecovely ever since and 70 thousand American soldiers died in Vietnam needlessly becuase of JFK's death. It has been the greatest murder mystery ever. If you were murdered by suspicous cercumstances, wouldn't you want your murder avenged? The murderers have never been brought to justice?

I don't see any sense of following this assassination case; it's March 1 2010 and there's really no hardcore evidences of who really shot JFK...
