@LowRider7208 He bought Sporgo's helmet kit. It comes with the cast, ear pieces and visor. For the LEDS you need 5mm white LEDs, 1K resistors, 220 ohm resistors, 2N3904 transistors, control boards to set the pattern, a plastic sign for the housing, color filters and assorted connectors (if you want the boards able to be unplugged.)

@decapitator69 Ok, ur comment is like 10 months old so u might've already figured this out, but its not paint. My best guess that he cosmichromed it. Cosmichrome is bascally a spray-on chrome; generally cheaper than actual chrome with the same shiny, mirror effect.

This is amazingly awesome. I think the only way to make it even better was if you could somehow figure out how to rig the lights so that they pulsed in synch with sounds if you wanted them to. If, say, you hooked the helmet up to an MP3 player(hell, put the speakers in the helmet itself and it's even more gravy), and the lights flashed to the beat of the music.

The helmet took about 4 months to make. I purchased the raw cast with tinted visor. The visor was made from a PET sheet that had been vacuum formed and tinted from the inside. Can I see through the visor? ABSOLUTELY.
