  • i see your main point but it is a lot of things we dont need yet enjoy using anyway right

  • @NickelLover21 yeah i know, I discovered that shortly after I made this video.

  • I love india becuz almost everything there is vegetarian, over here in canada, when i go to macdonalds with my friends, they laugh at me cuz i only eat fries while they eat hamburgers.

  • @pimpo911 haha umm the fries at mcdonald's are made with beef oil..

  • hi im happy that you are vegetarian, i am too and i totally agree with you.

  • Well, I agree with you. Blow me?

  • I rlly don't think the bible fairytale should be used as an argument to become a vegetarian, but if it encourages people to stop eating meat, then fine, accept/believe whatever nonsense some middle eastern jews wrote 5000 years ago. Nonetheless, it's the right reason or logical, rational reason to become a vegetarian. Now you seem to be more like an specist because you value human live over the live of an animal which may seem fine, but rlly all lives have equal value.

  • @SophistAtheist of course I value human life over an animal. That's riduculous for you to suggest a human isn't worth more than a dog.

  • Agreed. :D

  • Im With Ya And Im 10 My Mum And Dad Say No Dont You'll Be Sorry And. . . . . .No Its Awesome

Meat = Cancer Heart Attact (Loads More)

    And What You Said

    Meat Eaters = SUCK

    Vegetarians = ROCK

  • I don't believe in any god/spirit/whatever, I believe that since there has been animals there's been carnivores and herbivores and were omnivores, made to eat both animals and plants.

  • "like in TRIBAL countries" ????? Oh you mean to say, those countries where they run around with a bone through their noses? Or you mean those countries where mobile phone companies have started wars over coltan, the resource that goes into your mobile phone. Oh wait, those are the same countries ...

Man, the one thing that's tilted is your worldview, or rather seriously FFed up, sorry to say. What kinda school you go to, do they teach creationism there? Evolution is forbidden?

  • @HuhOhIc no, dumbass. I go to public school actually.

  • hey,, i totally agree with you, we have so many alternatives, like Tofu, Lentils, Vitamins..

Tofu tastes pretty good to,, and although i eat alot of Meat, i find i feel better when i eat vegetarian food :)..

knowing that an animal suffered just for our sake really hurts me too..

and your Right in Genesis, they didnt eat meat, they found it unclean until the law said they can eat it after they drain the blood lol something like that :P

    dont listen to anyone..

    JuLie ♥

    xox

  • Hooray for inspirational music!!! :D

  • You're really pretty! And I'm a vegetarian, too! (: How long have you been a vegetarian?! :DD

  • You make a very good point.

And good for you for sticking to your beliefs :D

  • everybody becomes a vegetarian because they saw where their burger came from

  • =D I'm going to try to go vegan now. =p

  • stfu bitch.

  • its not gross. there are people in America that are poor and live on a farm that raise animals for harvesting so they will have a meal

  • plus for the inspirational music.

  • Im a vegan and i changed my views cause animals are like humans i mean its like eating a cat! same thing a animals and if you want more briel watch a video called meet your meat. its sad and i could barley watch it(:

  • Really awesome points! I never thought about it that way! Check out my video about why I decided to be vegetarian! haha. (If you want I not tryin to force ya lol)

  • The largest mammals in the world (gorillas, elephants, cows etc) are all vegetarian. Claiming that from vegetables you cant get enough raw materials to produce muscle, bones, organs and tissues is complete nonsense. Its just easier to get all nutrients if you eat animals, but is NOT impossible to get all you need from a vegetarian diet.

  • Awwwww......I love the emotional background music.....

  • aside from the whole religious argument, i do agree with your points. we do not need to eat meat (in fact a vegetarian diet is a lot healthier) there are sooo many other options and its really just, gross. :/ i also am a vegetarian for environmental reasons and i do not support animal cruelty.

  • u seem like a really genuine person! im vegetarian too. slaughtering animals is so sad and eating meat makes me want to throw up!

  • haha ok but u need meet for a protien that it has

  • How about you fucking vegetarians shut the fuck up and start caring about homeless dogs and cats, how scum people treat them etc.

  • Humans are animals u dumb twat, your a vegetarian for all the wrong reasons. It has nothing to do with religion. Jump off a bridge you HIV infested fucktard.

  • @dontclickhereorelce wow, now you're just attacking me and not even my beliefs.

    you're a dumbfuck.

  • Actually we DO need meat. My uncle died 15 years ago from Leukemia. His dr told him that eating fruits and vegetables would get good for him, but not to go overboard because there is such thing as too much of a good thing. Not only do you need what you get from fruits and veggies and nuts, but lean meats, like chicken, turkey and then some types of fish are very good for your health. Just because you're fine now, doesn't mean you will be later. Your immune system isn't the same. Educate yourself

  • Amanda I think I'm in love :) x

  • I respect your opinion about the principal but don't start going on about the nutrition until you really know what you're talking about or you're going to bump into people like me, with a sports nutrition degree.

It it virtually impossible to replace everything you are missing from not eating meat. Protein is the building blocks of life and everything revolves around it, any vegetable proteins are (in general) cheap imitations of the real stuff you'd get from meat.

  • @Zirezu except i've been pretty fine eating the way i do for many months now so i think that pretty much desproves your point. in fact i actually got muscles haha.

  • @amandagirlygirl13 Hi Amanda, i can assure you that you get all the essential amino acids (protein building blocks) from eating a variety of vegetarian food (beans, corns...etc). I this from the nutrition classes in university i've taken and books i've read that are written by credible phD in nutrition...etc :)

  • @amandagirlygirl13 if I'm allowed to be 'negative', I just think you lost weight so that the muscles were more noticable.

  • @Agrikultur lol i didn't lose weight...i've always been skinny...in fact i've gained weight over the last year..

  • @Zirezu

Yeaaaahh, soo true. Also, there is absolutely no iron in any other thing than pure red meat. Not to speak of the cheap protein imitations made from whey in protein shakes for bodybuilders, so it is actually proven! I guess I don't have enough experience of life compared to you.

(I'm not that great in english but I hope one could see that this was irony.)

  • @Zirezu you are a douchebag, and you obviously got your degree free with your breakfast cereal. Google Mike Mahler and tell me he isn't getting everything he needs. Vegetarians cut out meat, not protein, and it is easy to get all the protein you need from vegan or vegetarian sources. Do your homework and STFU.

  • @bigbadmonkey1975 if those sources are cum

  • You are not dumb... you actually have said many mature things for your young age. I can only hope that one day more people can understand the same things that you do.

  • You are not dumb... you actually have said many mature things for your young age. I can only hope that one day more people can understand the same things that you do.

  • so, you say animals were put here for a resource

does that mean that if something were to start eating humans it would be ok?

noo! you only say this bc youre not the one being eaten

    you have no simpathy.

so dont watch a video on vegetarians if youre ignorant on the subject to begin with and are hard headed

    :)

  • mykailaraduns YOU are the dumb one. there are OTHER resources other than animals. animals are a resource of food obviously but we do not NEED meat! bacon is full of grease and disgusting. my question is, why the hell are you commenting on a video like this? just stay out of it. she looks perfectly healthy not skinny at all and learn how to spell dumbass.

  • thats cool girly!! :)

  • where are you getting haem-iron from if not eating meat?

  • It's called the food chain. And killing animals in the name of god is different, like in judiism and islam, the animals are not killed in vain, they are killed in the least painful way and in god's name. God put animals on earth and crops and veg and fruit for us to eat.

  • cont.. The only plant matter able to suit my needs are hemp seeds. Too bad I can't buy these EXPENSIVE seeds B/C hemp is illegal to grow here. I recently got a "15 serving" serving can of organic hemp protein mix for $20. Hemp seeds contain the PERFECT 3:1 omega fat ratio, tons of soluable/insoluable fiber and every essential amino acid, all in perfect ratios. HEMP is illegal to grow here and it doesn't even get people high. So yeah long as hemp is illegal, I'll bloody my mouth to live. Peace!

  • I WISH I could go without meat, but my metabolic type is Protein/Fat. My ancestors came from northern climates where there is virtually no heat/plants/Sunshine. I'm one of those few assholes who NEED meat. That's right, I can eat fatty food for DAYS and not gain a pound, But as soon as I stop, I get sucked up and weak/sick. The protien in many plants cause my digestive system to block up "gluten intolerance" as well as lactose intolerance so little to no milk for me. cont.....

  • I´ve been vegetarian for 10 years, i´ve also made blodd studies and i´ve never had deficiencies. NEVER! even my PCR evaluation revealed that I have all proteins my body and any human body should have.

  • I just turned vegetarian (only yesterday)

  • I just turned vegetarian

  • I'm not religious but I respect your views, I also happen to be a vegetarian :].

  • omg. you were so amazing. NOW YOUR 3 TIMES AS AMAZING NOT EATING ANIMALS!! :D screw you meat eaters.

  • omg. you were so amazing. NOW YOUR 3 TIMES AS AMAZING NOT EATING ANIMALS!! :D screw you meat eaters.

  • Hens don't have it any better: they are crammed in tiny cages where they don't have enough room to move or even flap their wings. Sometimes they get stuck in the wires of the cages, strangling themselves, or getting stuck for days with no access to food or water. Many die from this, or from sicknesses that don't get treated.

Hens are also bred and fed hormones so they produce larger eggs. This is stressful on their bodies, and some develop painful infections and diseases of the uterus.

  • (cont from below) Cows are also bred and fed hormones so that they produce more milk; the stress on their bodies makes them age much faster. By the end of their abuse, they will often start collapsing frequently; once they become too much of a problem for the farmer, or don't produce enough milk, they are sent to the slaughterhouse.

The cows get mastitis, which is a very painful infection of the mammary glands, and are forced to endure milking despite this (also results in pus in milk).

  • Alright, as I've mentioned already here, I was vegetarian for 9 years, but I recently made the shift to veganism after watching Earthlings. Here's the thing we should all think about: are we really causing less suffering if we eat dairy and eggs? Dairy cows are separated from their calves days after their birth: the cows continue to look for their babies days, weeks afterward, and cry out for them. The calf cries out to his or her mother, and in some cases the mother hears but can't get to him.

  • i wanna be a vegetarian.. i LOVE animals and i just dont like ppl just slaughtering and killing animals and cuz of my health :)

  • your really pretty. ha but this is kinda cheesey! :/ sorry.

  • Hehe, I am a vegitarian, too. And guess what? My name is amanda! I have the same views as you:) You go girrl:)

  • There never was a necessity to eat meat, just like there never was a necessity to eat a human, but people killed & ate humans. Eating meat means "canibalism". It's a perverted state of mind. Human's digestive system is similar if not identical to those of grass eating animals (e.g. cows, goats, sheep) a huge contrast to beast animals. When Christian defends vegeterianism it's for soul sake, but he defends meat eating, it's for own lust. You are absolutely right referring to God's original diet.

  • @wtoiqufalkshglaksghe nope we have a very different digestive system than animals that eat grass ..... do ur research please don't confuse more people....

  • I love this video.

Those are the reasons why I'm a vegetarian too. And I'm also for animal rights. :-)

  • 1.) You are really pretty. :)

    2.) I'm a vegetarian too!

    Hurray for the Vegi People!

  • youu go girll ! [:

  • What is gained by not eating meat? Why didn't god want humans to eat animals, if at the same time some animals are forced to eat other animals? That it's in their nature. I understand you not wanting animals to die for you to eat, but I don't quite understand the religious argument.

  • you look like linsay lohan

  • vegans are cool

  • You're dumb. God did put animals on this earth for us to eat. Animals are a resouce, it's natural protein. It tastes good. Bacon? C'mon! You're slow... give this anerexic bitch a hamburger

  • HAHA. Actually, if you look in the first few chapters of Genesis, you'll see that God did not let humans eat animals until after the flood. A lot of people lived in between the flood and the creation of humans, so get your facts straight.

  • @amandagirlygirl13 epic win >:D

    GO VEGGIES WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mykailaraduns Actually, dear. Eden was vegan. Read the Bible. Besides, she's not an anorexic bitch, she's very intelligent and beautiful.

  • @acidpopproductions More like fruitarianmism

  • @acidpopproductions u mean hot

  • just to let you no keep your flap shut and leave her alone

  • hahahaha,

i just shot 3 deer illegally.

  • If you really want to get into a God argument, go talk to and Old Testament Professor.

God did not give man permission to eat until the Flood. Until then, it was veggies and plants. The Bible doesn't directly says this, but we can infer that animals weren't consumed until the Flood because it is the first time God mentions the consumption of meat.

In Genesis, God refers to animals as COMPANIONS, not food. The eating of meat came from necessity of the time because of the Flood.

  • So we are taking it for granted that God just exists?

  • @mykailaraduns "and god said, behold i have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed: to you it shall be for meat"-Genesis 1:29 jah said that we may have dominion over all the creatures of the earth but he didn't say go ahead and slaughter them for consumption blessed love i am not trying to sway you to become a vegan/vegeterian but if you involve the almighty then we have a problem jah bless<3

  • @mykailaraduns oh yeah 'cause you can prove god exists, right?

  • @mykailaraduns well your God obviously didn't give us a body dependent on meat or very efficient for meat. You can live without meat but try liviing without fruits and vegetables and see how you fair.

  • @mykailaraduns Do you even know how they kill animals? I mean they keep animals in close corridors, never outside. They pump chemicals into the animals. They slaughter them horribly.

Do research to see how they really kill them.

  • @mykailaraduns And what was in the Garden of Eden Did they eat animals NO Adam and Eve did perfectly fine and were healthy! And dont watch these videos if you'll make fun of us and it goes green

  • @mykailaraduns And what was in the Garden of Eden Did they eat animals NO Adam and Eve did perfectly fine and were healthy! And dont watch these videos if you'll make fun of us and it goes green

  • hey amanda hun. first off you look beautiful. secondly i agree with every point you made. i am vegan. but i agree with every statement you made. i live in UK but you are right we dont have a necestity ( cant spell it) to eat animals anymore. thanks for the video :). xxx

  • your beautiful. i have same news. u rock :D no wait....we rock lol :D do u have facebook hehe xxxxxx amanda !!!!!!!!!!

  • y is meat gross? its just proetin, plants are just cellulose...jus hemicals and atoms.

  • not only protein we need from meat but other essential vitamans.

  • you can easily get those vitamins from other sources, fyi.

  • where will a vegetarian get her vitaman b12?

  • @partition00 from a supplement

  • Vegetarians don't need to supplement: they get plenty from dairy and eggs. I was vegetarian for 9 years, never had a B12 problem.

Vegans can get B12 from fortified foods: many soy products have B12 added (check labels!), Red Star nutritional yeast flakes (gross sounding name, I know, but they're not - they're dry, bright yellow flakes that contain complete proteins, very healthy - sprinkle on top of stuff like parmesan cheese), and many cereals and granolas (again, check labels!).

  • Just wanted to add this: when I was vegetarian the only thing I ever had an issue with was iron. I occasionally took supplements for this problem.

Then I went vegan. Within a week, my iron deficiency symptoms (shortness of breath, weakness) completely disappeared. I no longer take any supplements and feel great. :)

  • @partition00 you can also get your b12 out of dairy products. one glass of milk already contains like 36% of your daily needs. And you can also buy enriched products which contain just as much or even more b12 then meat... and off course if this isn't enough for you, you can always take a supplement :)

  • @amandagirlygirl13 yeah but god didn't put those "sources" on earth. we make them

  • @amandagirlygirl13

do look into B12, currently we're are not aware of a vegan source and it's essential. You may also want to look into books on the intelligence of plants.

Just thought you might find this interesting

  • What a sweet, honest, innocent testimonial. Your best point is that it is UNNECESSARY to consume animal flesh in a developed country and during an era when alternatives are available.

I call it 'eating close to the earth.' It is totally inefficient to eat animals, too, when we can consume all the protein we need directly from plant sources.

Not reading the Bible literally, you can appreciate it as literature: Read Genesis 1:28-31 ("...I give all the green plants for food.") Inclusive Bible

  • Since were all going to become vegetarians after we die or when Jesus' 2and coming happens, might as well be a vegetarian now, thats my opinion. The reason animals became hunted and food to eat was because satan tempted adam/eve to sin and they did sin and THEN death/sin/killing entered the world against God's will.

  • Good to you! I became a Vegan since age 11. I am glad you have chosen a path to enlightenment and overcome your ignorance of the world. I recommend you to read " Animal Liberation by Peter Singer" and Dominion. Good Luck and keep spreading the awareness of suffering. God bless you

  • FUCK GOD, GO VEGAN, END OF STORY.

  • F God? Really, if you dont like him get out of his creation.

  • i am outta his creation, he created nothing.

  • im not a vegetarian because meat tastes too good.

    SORRY.

  • im a new vegetarian and christian so i loved this i subscribed

  • I agree =] im a veggie

  • Im with you, but first we have to get bacon reclassified as a vegetable.

    uummm BACON!!!

  • some people say if we dont eat and hunt the animals there will be to many

and its you need it a little (protein) not cannibals its carnivores

cannibals- a person(s) and or animal(s) who eats a living being from the same species

  • Does people eat cockroach? No!! There are many cockroaches in the world, but it doesn't matter for human beings.

  • It is all up to you, as long as you get the nutrition, and believe and feel good about yourself, and not doing it as a FAD, It is your Decision, and I respect your decision.!!!

  • if it wasn't necessary to eat animals to survive..then why do vegetarians HAVE to take pills, etc. to meet their protein necessity?

  • hahaha what? i don't take pills.

  • i think meat is neccesary esp. for all of the underprivileged poor and homeles people meat digests alot slower there for giving you more energy and keeping you full longs theres alot of reasons why people need and should eat meat not that being a vegitarian is bad because everyone needs fruits and veg too

  • i agree with you. beuatiful and smart. :)

  • this girlie reminds me of Mitchell Davis :O

    (LiveLavaLive)

  • well while see wen you get sick wen you dont get the protein you need and your to stuborn to eat the meat! just you watch

  • i'm not too stubborn, it's just disgustingg yooo.

  • i saw new moon people it was freaking AWSOME!!!!!!!

  • i want to be vegetarian really bad, just idk how???

People are probably saying "duh dont eat met"

    but i raised on meat.

its hard to let go but im going to try harddd!

  • I like to listen to you "preaching", Amanda. Next Sunday I'll attend your service ^^

  • Nothing wrong with being a vegie, but a couple of questions: 1) What do you propose we do with livestock (cows/pigs/chickens)? We can't let them continue to reproduce, there would be a huge overpopulation of them everywhere. 2) Do you realize these are the bottom of the food chain? 3) If we quit slaughtering them, what do you think would happen to the industries that process all that into what we put on the dinner table? 4) What do you think that would do to the economy? Think about all of that.

  • i respect everything you say, but god did eat fish.

so they killed fish to eat!

i dnt kno if ur tlkn bout fish ok lol

but i get ur reasons its kinda cool

    from ur point of view

  • Jesus also ate regular meat, that doesn't mean that he said we all have to. Actually in the bible it says that God respects both non-meat eaters and meat eaters. look it up.

  • You are a very intelligent , pretty, and artistic girl keep up the good work, enjoy your vids very much

  • i agree.

  • but also Exodus 12 God confmmands us to eat meat. what now? and you dont know for sure that Adam and Eve didnt eat meat in the Garden of Eden, it doesnt say that they didnt.

  • Actually God does NOT command us to eat meat. In Romans it says that God respects both vegetarians and meat eaters. So, hah.

  • You seem like a nice girl Amanda... but each too their own.... I love meat....

  • wow your good ! youve changed so mcuh but its in a good way your not this preppy girl and your a good person !

  • Amanda, you should become an actress.

    You've got spunk and moxie

  • You're awesome Amanda! :)

  • Ur hot

  • I'm not a vegetarian...but I am a Sagitarian...

  • Sometimes it's okay to research your assumptions before saying them aloud.

    *hint*

  • lmfao? wow

  • lol. wow. u are the future. im glad the world is ending. dont knock eating people- they are quite tasty!!!!

  • God demands blood sacrifice in the Bible.

    Plants are living creatures too.

    Your reasons are invalid.

  • God does NOT demand blood sacrafice! that is totally innacurate.

  • Genesis 4 - God liked Abel's offering of animals better than Cain's offering of plants.

Genesis 22:2 - God tells Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac.

Exodus 20:24 - Instructions for how to sacrifice animals to God.

Ex 24:5-8, Ex 29 - Examples of sacrifice in graphic detail.

God gives more instructions for the killing of people and animals in Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Malachi...

The bible is full of it.

  • it may be in the old testament, but the whole point of jesus dying on the cross was so sacrafice wouldn't be a need anymore, because he paid the ulitmate price for our sins even though he did nothing. that's why he's called the Lamd of God.

  • Whoops, thought my other reply hadn't gone through.

If Jesus did nothing then how can he achieve anything?

If Jesus is alive today then how was he a sacrifice?

Why is his death a reason to ignore half of the Bible, especially when the Bible itself says the Old Testament still applies?

  • indeeed , like thats so true how he died on the cross for us to live in peace and not have to go threw stuff he went threw. all us human beings should be proud that we are so free and have nothing to worry about. we dont got to worry about getting nails threw our hands and getting spit on and made fun of for something that was true but noone belive.

  • There are several places in the Bible where God gives specific instructions for the sacrifice of animals or people. Genesis and Exodus are two easy examples.

  • You have good reasons for being a vegetarian. I just hope it's not a lack of protein that caused you to choose that cheesy background music.

  • it's not cheesy hahah. i love port blue.

  • i just ate chinese food. im now realy sad.... i decided to eat less meat RIGHT NOW! but i cant give it up because i am such a picky eater. but i will try. WOW you convinced me and a bunch of my friends tried to and they couldnt! thx manda! and also can you do a question and answer thing like you did when you (and i) were younger. im 13 gona be 14..... so yea homie g

  • Not to get too into it but the Bible actually DOES say that God provides certain animals for us to eat. However, nothing in the Bible says we HAVE to eat meat or that people who do not eat meat are wrong. In fact, it says just the opposite! No one should try to make u eat meat regardless of health reasons or their personal bias. I love meat but i respect your desire not to eat it. Just remember that tolerance works ALL ways and you'll be fine! Go Amanda!

  • you rock your amazing keep up with the vids, i love them. your a good person. love to talk to you one day take care and bless you

  • HMMM I LOVE COW DICK

  • your too skinny. you need meet.

  • hmm, well all animals eat other animals, and if lions only had plants to eat, they would die, and they wouldnt think twice about eating a human. with plenty of giselles around. and y did adam and eve get kicked out of the garden of eden? for eating fruit! not meat. nowhere does it say that animals didnt live in the garden. see those teeth in ur mouth, those were designed to eat meat.and its been medically proven teens who r veg damage their bodies because thy dnt get essential nutrients to devlop

  • i probably eat more protein than you, so you don't know what you're talking about.

  • there are all different kinds of proteins your body uses, also there are other essential nutrients in meat. btw im not attacking u, im trying to have a friendly discussion about it :)

  • I get tired of the taste of meat some times, if i have to kill an animal cut it and cleaning to eat it i rather be a vegetarian or try fishing XD.

the bible story of the garden of eden always have sound very dum to me <_<

  • I'm getting hungry watching this video.

  • ther is nothing wrong with boiled cat

  • I think you are pretty, funny, smart (most times) but, People are better/above animals? That's a bunch of shit. People consume, multiply, torture, destroy all for pleasure and selfish reasons. If people did things based on what "we need to do" - this would be heaven - but, people don't do that - people whatever the hell they wanna do. we drive big cars that we know cause polution, we breed like there's no tomorrow even though the planet is overpopulated, people suck, animals are awesome...

  • yeah, but people are made in the image of God. animals are not.

  • How do you figure that? Where's the proof that God is humanoid? For all you know (and me and the pope and anyone else) God could be anything and have any shape. Or God could be nothing and have no shape. To assume something based on what you read or heard from others without witnessing for yourself is fairly ignorant. To claim to KNOW something about which you don't actually know, you haven't actually witnessed can can't actually prove is .. insane..

  • well, no, i actually do lknow. i know that God created people in his image.

  • Comment removed

  • i don't need evidence or proof to know about God. you may not believe it, but that's what the Bible is for.

  • Comment removed

  • wow...u my friend are living proof that SOME people are not as good (or as smart for that matter) as animals...u really need to stop listening to the fearmongers and start doing your own research...the world is NOT overpopulated and human activity only causes a very small fraction of environmental pollution...get the facts and maybe u will move a few notches up on the food chain. Miracles can happen!
