Whitney's voice is stronger than Aaliyah's was, but that's like comparing apples to oranges. They have different styles, and are two different people...when it came to making music they both were very successful and both met very sad ends (one in death and one in self-destruction)...I respect both of them though.
Honestly, not many can sing as smooth as old school greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sara Vahaughn, Natalie Cole, and Billie Holiday (all live performers)...but I respect all musicians
