This is the original recording with someone "miming" it on guitar, listen to the background sounds of the tv and such, as in the original recording and at the end he stop moving his fingers, and the guitar keeps playing.

No, it's not the original. It's good but it's not the original. Listen closely. On many uploaded clips the timing of the video does not quite match.

aha - your so correct.. it was Ron di Blasi on the Wall. I had in mind the live 'is there anybody out there version'. it's clear from the sound of that LP that a plectrum is being used.. and i'm sure the video recordings of this show Gilmour doing so.

there may be a program that does it more efficiently, but the only think that comes to my mind is just pulling the 4 clips (of the 4 camera angles) into Adobe Premiere Pro and manually making each of the angles fit into a corner of the screen. if you do not have premiere (costs anywhere between 400 and 1000+ dollars, at least that's the price range i've seen), i don't know what to tell you.

I agree with dis001. This is a nice idea and all, and it is a good job with the different camera angles, but the alternate picking technique being shown seems odd and impractical to me. You should economize the picking, not go out of the way with unneccesary movements. You only need to go straight down and straight back up to play most of this segment.

I like to play it with a plectrum too, but on the album it's played by fingerpicking.

i dunno, maybe that's how it's meant to be played, but some of them seemed unnecessary and sometimes downright awkward.

Dude to each their own style...the important part is the fingering...however you get the sound across best is up to you...I even do the fingering differently but its nice to have a reference...not to mention this is the best lesson I have seen...but if you think you can do better, by all means put a lesson with you playing it...
