Other than that fish... oddity, this level looks great!
It does look like the status bar palette uses the same palette as something that uses a palette exanimation, but I think that just makes it look awesome. =)

The overworld, the level, and the graphics all look spot-on, but I do have a concern...
In the vicinity of 1:46, the pipes suddenly have their light source inverted. Intentional?

No, actually. When i ripped them, i put them over SMW's pipe tiles upside-down. I fixed it in some spots, like the exit pipe.

the little fishy around 1:24 has glitched graphics when it hits the surface. Other than that, the level is really great.
