@87ssmonte714 yeh Im liking the set up havent gotten my calipers in yet, but it will be nice once I throw it all on... Warren will make a how-to video once I finish mine, and he does his three projects, cause we r doing it three or four different ways
Do the rear backing plate off of the camaro bolt up or is there a mod to do before you have to bolt it up? What proportion valve and master brake cylinder are you using?
@SLODWN slight modification to the stock axle flange is needed to bolt the backing plate on (very easy), while the axles are out, they need to have new longer studs installed (I use ARP), you need a disc/disc prop valve and a direct replacement can be used to make it painless (I used an adjustable to be able to shut the rear brakes off).
@gtsdesign If you go to Dixi Monte Carlo they sell the disc/disc prop valve for $80 and you could get a line lock kit so you wouldn't forget to turn the rear brakes back on,just a suggestion.I was thinking on doing a conversion on my next project.
@SLODWN a disc/disc should run you around $40-60, you can modify the stock for much cheaper. the adj prop valve was placed on the rear, and the stock prop valve ditched all together. there is going to be a trans brake and going a different direction with the car. go to gbodyforum and look up lscustoms, in the sig is a link to rear brake and front brake upgrade. also a glimpse of the el co!
@blkmysts let me know when you are ready and what your budget is, cause i can alway put something together for a good price, if not, advice is free bro, fell free to hit me up in a pm
@gtsdesigns I be trying to do a lil somethin, somethin lol. Im trying to find somebody to blast my blazer knuckles right now so I can throw my Vette brake system on. Keep them updates rolling!
send a setup for those back brakes this way. looking good. 14" rotors in the front is killing it!! Making all of us g_body heads step our game up.
