Buster Keaton was God's gift to humanity. What a funny, one-of-a-kind personalities. I never get bored with Buster. I've seen all of his independently produced movies. As for the MGM period, he gave them what they deserved. There will never be anyone like Keaton again. I love his movies.
That was cute. Not quite as hilarious as his earlier work, but still good. It's too bad he didn't get to keep directing his own films. Stupid MGM. >:(
watching Buster in talkies just isn't the same as watching him in his classic silent shorts...I feel sort of sad when I watch his work in this period. So underrated and his physical comedy seems so repressed. He made "The General" for crying out loud.
@demoman87 - But "The General" was a relative failure when it came out, and audiences began turning his back on him, leading to this film and others like it - even though he, of course, was more than vindicated later.
He was still a cutie at 42 :0)

A fix it man throws an unrestrained convicted murderer on to a bed and turns away from the presumably unlocked cell door.

@demoman87 I agree with you I feel sad too watching him in these shorts because I know how unhappy he was with them and with MGM.
