  • Saw them last night for the first time at Koko in Camden. Fuck me, pure primal power! Love this band. Will be posting up vids from last night on here asap.

  • I was there!

  • You know what the best thing about a Neurosis crowd is: THEY DON'T MOSH!!! That just goes to prove that Neurosis transcend metal beyond compare! Amen? A-fucking-men!!! :)

every show ive seen everyone in the crowd to ripped on acid to move

and kinda looking really really scared .

    God i miss that

  • @chickennone what a stupid thing to say. I can't wait to hold you in my arms you faggot.

  • This song is fuckin ace!

  • You know what the best thing about a Neurosis crowd is: THEY DON'T MOSH!!! That just goes to prove that Neurosis transcend metal beyond compare! Amen? A-fucking-men!!! :)

  • beyond compare would be exaggerating.. there are many bands that make music like this. but i agree, the crowd is relatively still, even though sludge gigs are intense beyond anything. i still turn spasmodic to this kind of music, it makes me want to collide into everything

  • Oh I understand that! Isis and Godflesh do make visceral metal like this. It's just that considering how ultra-heavy Neurosis are, their reception is more calm rather than chaotic. I agree that their music makes me spasmodic but in a more internal manner.

  • well, seeing as you really like this kind of music, i strongly recommend the band Rosetta. it's like an exact mix between Isis and Neurosis, but much heavier (the album Wake/Lift is beyond anything i've ever heard)

  • Thanks man! I'll look into them.

  • who would you compare?

  • I sow them last summer at Senigallia in Italy. It's true the crowd was still. Even between two songs people stood in silence!!! I had to speak to my friends whispering just not to bother other people. It was so strange! :-)

However it has been the gig of my life!

  • want to hear a really heavy band? melvins, that is unless you heard of them already

  • justinbenson6: listen to Meshuggah's album 'Nothing' or 'Catch 33' if you want something much heavier than Melvins

  • Thank goodness for bands like neurosis and isis.

  • Favourite of the new album, fucking powerful...

  • origin blew me away! :O

  • wow... what an amazing live band

  • neurosis is one of the best band´s of out time. and thanks for posting!!!

  • Their new album is the most amazing thing ever... i'm still deciding with song i like best... i have to choose between:

    Distill (Watching The Swarm)

    Given To The Rising

    Water Is Not Enough

  • Sorry, the best song is hidden faces. How did you miss that!

  • thats my least favorite song in the album, actually...

  • All of them! LOL!!!

You're right, what an incredible album.

All you TOOL and Mastodon fans should bow to the real kings of it all!

  • Neurosis is just the best band in the world !

  • Great work.

  • Thank you!!!

  • vivement le nouveau album

    magnifique video !!

  • Grrr...youtube just can't do them justice!

JANUARY 13TH IN LOS ANGELES PEOPLE!!!

  • My mouth is wide open in a smile beyond boundaries. This is beautiful! BEAUTIFUL! I must lie down in bliss for two hours. Don't get me wrong, Eye of Every Storm was excellent, but NOBODY does HEAVY like NEUROSIS. Looks that come time for the new album, their still gonna be my fucking favorite band and then some.

  • one million stars

  • i love the tags for this

"punk" and "crust" doesn't accurately describe anything they've released since like 1989

  • Thanx for the vid dude. I was there and my ears are still recovering. Cant wait for the new album. Awesome band!!!

  • Hey dude, check your inbox please, I let you a message ;)

    Anyway thanks for sharing!

  • If I'm not wrong this song was titled as "Distill" on the soundboard setlist as I could see later on a photo still.

Really looking forward to the new album!

  • whatever they do, they don't look back and i commend that.

  • swing those invisable dreads mr Von Till ;oP

  • the new album is obviously going to be great, thanks for posting this video.
