Back a few weeks ago one of the union bosses stated (I think it was the service group) that if the States go WORK AT WILL it would bankrupts the unions. I took that to mean that workers really do not want to be force to belong to the unions. Right to Work means workers would not be forced to pay dues. I belonged to the UAW back in the 60’s and got out.

As a GM worker and a non union member all I can say is that if this guy was a real union rep he would be standing up there and talking about how our government has sold out the american worker by sending our jobs over seas. You can talk free market all day, but it means nothing if americans don't have jobs. Before I fight to raise my wage I would start to fight to bring our jobs home!

I work at GM and my hands are numb right now as I type. My feet kill me and I come home with black soodt in my nose and ears every day. My sister worked at GM and she had surgery in both hands for Carpel Tunnel disease. Autoworkers make $60,000/year because most surrender their body and health.

GM is a profit generating Corp with executives making 10's of millions. I wish teachers and fireman made $60,000 year.

There are 5000+ auto workers and suppliers in my Ohio commnity; UAW workers are the top of income chain; if you cut our pay the grapefruit we spend in our communities becomes oranges.Proportionally, workers in other industries are no longer taking in the grapefruit profits so they now spend nectarines. UAW workers aren't shopping or eating out as much, so Food Service and Retail workers that use to spend nectarines can now only spend plums.Finally, plumb tax revenue,is now just cherry & grapes.

ceo,s and management making absurd wages need to be SCALPEDand yes your WAGES SHOULD BE INLINE WITH THE COMPETITIONS! THE GOVT SHOULD ALLOW companies that export into north america to only allow that number that it allows to return to their country and then maybe your job will become viable !
