  • I love this cover.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG

  • one of the best songs i have ever heard...peace

  • No man this version sucks. We should respect the great melody and the feeling associated with lyrics and rhythm created by the great Pink Flyod. This is not cool. Simple it's better not best.

  • You will like to know we got him.

  • @lifeson30 one man is nothing, there are 6 billion of us.

  • Thanks for the vid.

  • Needs more John Rzeznik and less Fred Durst

  • Aaaah! Este som diz-me tanto...Demais ate. Adorei a adaptaçao do John e Fred para 1 classico dos Pink Floyd. Excelent.

  • This has been posted for the 6 Gay and straight boys 13 years old to 19 years old who were bullied...to death. They killed themselves. For what? For who?

This song we've dedicated to them.

  • johny is awesome but nice one to fred! didn't know he could sing this well. great track by floyd - like this cover too.

  • i saw this around 15 months ago. today is 9/11. this had stuck in my head all that time, and i went back now that i am more familiar with the original song and can fully appreciate it

  • Oh damn , those beautiful pink floyd lyrics turn into an awfull and pathetic regular pop-ballade without any soul! Guilmour come back and kissh their ass please ^^

  • @calimero66140 I disagree, I saw this live and speaking as an 80's relic I thought it was a classy and respectful rendition, maybe the performance of the night

Always loved this song and it rips my soul up now even more as I lost my father in January

  • Hammer Lied..

    N1

  • wat do you want man? you want us all to indulge you and say fuck you? america fuck yea! how bout this. despite your ignorant ignorant selfish unkind comment and motivation, you stilll have my love as one human to another. be nice. be kind to your brothers. lern from everybodys mistakes and be the best person you can be. PEACE.

  • personally i dont care, but i love it, best cover ive ever heard, so suck it up buttercup its a beautiful song, and in memory of 9/11, so enough of the insults and come with comments, isnt that what the song about, to froget about hatred and come wiht peace

  • These two got the song out there to the masses.

But....it is still about Syd Barrett 1946-2006.

  • THIS IS MINDBLOWING!!!

  • One of the best versions of Wish You Were Here ever. I will never forget watching the 9/11 concert and hearing it. Sure, Fred Durst is a toolbag with a ton of effects on his voice, but that arrangement along with John Rzeznik just rocks.

  • osem song lots of heart in it

  • Cmon hate it or love it.

    I love it :D

  • Douchebags

  • What???? I think it's amazing. They did a great job

  • No. No, they did not.

  • yeah, this version isnt any good. Its probably the voice, hes not got the right notes either

  • The point wasn't to sound like the original. The point was to honor the lives that were lost on 9/11

  • Well I didn't fault them for lack of effort. I think Durst and Rzeznik are both talented and great artists in their own right as well

  • When 9/11 happened, I was too little to understand. However when I saw this, and I saw the tears in their eyes I finally understood that an absolute tragedy had happened. Just today I learned this version on guitar. I had to because it is just absolute beautiful.

  • echoe ?

lol well i love this sonnggg

  • This is actually (somewhat surprisingly) really great. Rzeznik and Durst both do a nice job and the arrangement is nice. The only thing I don't like about it is that effect they put on Durst's vocals. I guess they did it to make it sound like the Floyd record (?), but I think it would have been a lot better without it.

  • considering they both came from two completly different aspects of music, rap and heavy rock/metal, i think they did a good job, but in most cases the original will always be the best, this occurs for groups like Floyd, the Beatles, black sabbath, AC-DC, Blue-Oyster Cult, Foreigner, Kansas, Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Queen, RHCP, U2, The Who, ZZ Top. There's many other good groups that are similiar but those are the only ones i could think of off the top of my head.

  • Goo Goo Dolls aren't pop rock or metal lol. I would call them alternative or soft rock

  • this is also the greatest video from the dvd myself

  • what a song, couldn't of been better

  • I remember waking up in the middle of the night shortly after 9/11 and this was on the tv. I thought it was one of the most moving pieces of tv/music I had ever witnessed....

  • What a great song for such a horrible tragedy..

  • good song!

  • What a talent John Rzeznik is. Thanks for posting this.
