I bought this one for my Iphone3G and works fine , maybe you know by now, but you can store the remote inside the dock(on the back you see some letters saying´remote control´) very handy. Cheers !
This is a rlly nice speaker i bought him today for only €80,99 the speaker is flat but gives an amazing bass sound and you can plug in all the ipods there are
I was looking for a nice altec lansing ipod speaker. I was trying to get some idea how they are. I just decided to go for this. So coool. And, BigBang is my favorite group. So nice to hear that song with this speaker! Sound is pretty neat.
If i put my iphone 2g or 3g on it will it play music or not? I have read on the internet that it doesn't support iphone so im not sure. Btw i am going to get the im600 europe version. (sorry for my bad english)
Haha, no need to apologize. Your English is great! I haven't tried with the iPhone 2G and 3G yet, but it definitely plays music with the iPhone 1G. It does play music with the iPod Touch 2G, so if the hardware is the same, it should play in the iPhone 2G and 3G as well.
Hi, I own this unit and very happy with it but I need this little thingy from the Mint DS Wireless USB PC Speakers (see this video) copy and paste in search
Unfortunately, the Mint speakers and these speakers are two totally different products. So there's no possible way or purchasing a dongle for your PC and using these speakers at the same time. There is no internal wireless component within these speakers, so it cannot be technologically possible. Hope that helps!
For the price you're getting this for, these speakers provide really great sound. It features a button called SFX which adds great surround sound for a clear, crisp listening experience. If you're willing to shell out more for a top end speaker system, the ones made by Bose are exceptional as well, but they're three times the cost of these speakers. Hope that helps!
Haha, yeah, I forgot these speakers had the FM radio feature. I rarely use it because my iPod is always docked, so I have it ready to play music. Hope you're enjoying and my review helped. That's what I'm here for.
i have some different model can i ask you a techy question. well i need to know if i can do anything to fix this noise when i put my ipod in the dock. if i push the ipod forward a little or backward the noise will stop it drives me nuts!!! it is a buzzing noise i can play music but i have to push the ipod forward and backward to play it clearly!! please help!!!!!! :)
This may be an issue with the pin connectors on the docking station. I believe the newer iPods use a 30pin connector, which makes it incompatible with some docking stations or cables. Whenever I use my iPod Touch with these speakers, I suffer the same problems. What I do to help with the situation is to prop up the iPod with something soft like cardboard or a foam pad to make sure the pin connectors connect to the docking station to play the music. Hope that helps!
is this one better than the Altec Lansing inMotion Compact?

I want to buy this but there's one thing.
Can I connect it to my tv's headphone plug?
That would be great cuz my tv has crappy sound.
SomeThingsRule 1 year ago
@SomeThingsRule You can definitely use it as a speaker source. Just use a 3.5mm cord to connect both sources.

does this work with the iphone I think it does but would it charge it?
baboosted 2 years ago
It works with the iPod Touch, but it doesn't charge it. I'm guessing the same thing would be for the iPhone as well.
McTechGuy 2 years ago
doesn't it charge the iphone or ipod when the speaker is plugged in the wall?
itsminh 2 years ago
Yeah, it will charge the iPod, but not the iPod Touch or iPhone.
McTechGuy 2 years ago
so it will not charge the iphone when in it is plugged in the wall.

It will not charge the iPhone 1G when it is plugged into the wall. I am not sure about the 3G or the 3GS.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just purchased it. Unlike the Bose these have FM radio which I love.
