When I used to wear closures & frontals, my hair dresser used to make a skinny braid around the perimeter of my head and sewed it in the front with "invisible" thread, but I never thought abut the stocking cap. I just might try that =]
That's exactly how i would need to wear my closure because i have a widows peak and i refuse to cut it off. I'm on my second install of TVHF brazilian wavy. I have had a closure from them for months and never used it becasue i couldn't figure out how to install it! Thanks for the idea!
I love the review on the hair. I'm planning on installing my own in the near future. Even though the hair is the main focus of this video, I could not stop staring at those earrings, They are gorgeous!! Please let me know where you got them?
omg this is GORGEOUS! I've been looking for something like this because I dont want to have to straighten my natural hair. I was wondering if when you re-install the hair if you could video tape exactly how you did it ...it looks to natural and real!
I HAVE THIS HAIR TOOOOOO! omg, but my hair stylest left too big of a leave out than i wanted so the hair is hard to blend :( oh but can you do a kim kardashian hairstyle please with the hair! =)
@sugarpea16 It looks like someone reported it sometime last year because I had a picture of a Vogue cover with Iman on it with her right breast out. I still don't understand it and I've been trying to have the warning removed. Hopefully the warning will be removed soon :-)
Here's what You can do as well, it does involve glue but you won't have your alopecia scare again lol. You can use something called gro protect solution or alexxah solution just at the front where the closure will be. MsChanda on YT has used it so take a look at her video while thelacewigmaster and xyder have used the alexxah solution. Check out their reviews and see if it can work for you.
@Maximillian1024 aww, thank you so much. Ok, I will do a video with the hair flat ironed. I did recored a tutorial on this look, hopefully it will be up tommorrrow :-)
It looks very natural! I love it on you! I'm thankful that you shared the information about the the closure for two reasons. 1, because I had no idea that it was an available option. 2, I wanted to get hair sewn in with a part down the center, but, as u mentioned in the video, I didn't want to have to manipulate my natural hair. Plus, with this option, I can part it where I like :) Love it <3 This is a great product. Thx for sharing!
hey girl i just gt a new install today and ill be doing a review soon on it :) i got a closure done. my hairdresser done it no glue. she cut off the lace on the front and bascialy i did the same thing as you but yh i dont think its far back. i thnk its fine. if its too farward it looks weird you look nice
@pebbles8482 thank you so much. I definitely will with my next install. I just wanted to make sure that it would come out descent with my first try lol :-)
@MissLelee of course...the earrings are a sample from TheGlamCloset (which is my online accessory boutique that I hope to make public soon (I'm still trying to figure it out lol :-)
i dnt kno if ur opposed to maybe using a peice of tape their, but my friend uses a little bit of spritz at the front lets it get sticky and tacky and then puts the lace on it then blow drys it
I love the hair. It looks great on you. Those earrings are wonderful.....DIVALICIOUS :-) Love your channel girl. You are so informative and down to earth.
Diva you did an AMAZING job on the closure, it looks natural the way it is. you have brought hope back to me that I can use closures again, I like you do not and will not use glue or tape. THANKS soo much for the video!!!
@andralyn1011 aww, thank you so much. I was actually a little nervous about posting this video because I didn't want my hair to look crazy. I asked hubby multiple time before I posted (lol). Yeah, adhesives are definitely not my thing when it comes to hair, I've learned my lesson :-)
you are gonna take it out in 2-3 weeks? you can still moisturize with a sew-in. just use a bottle with a pointed nozzle to access your hair and scalp. seems like taking out a sew-in and re-installing is unnecessary stress to your natural hair. especially now that the weather is cold.
It helps if you lay one or two wefts down in the front (in the same direction as if you are going a frontal bang) before you sew down the closure. That gives the appears that the hair is coming from the hairline without putting too much tension on your hairline.
@TrOyLiN25 I do 2 large two strand twists, tie a scarf around the perimeter to make sure that the closure stays flat, and then I put a satin bonnet on...easy breezy :-)
thank you for doing this review on the closure. your install is exactly how I do mine, except I have not used the stocking cap before. .I like to use the weaving cap with the band so that I can pull my frontal or closure up closer on my head... sometimes u -part wigs isn't for everyone, especially when u are dealing with thining and dont want to put stress on your leave out. If you have any more tips please let me know.
Yes!!! I've been searching for a video that shows the virgin fantasy brazilian body wave hair including the closure. Your hair looks absolutely GORGEOUS!! This video is very helpful.
beautiful as always... I have a request. I dont know if you have done this before. But am new to doing sew-ins and quick weaves.. Is there something that you could do like a video for beginners on installing weave. I dont know , but what were some of the things you did to help you start learning how to install weave ?
and why dont you try a 3/4 wig instead of sewing the tracks to your head? i used to do that but then i tried the 3/4 wig method this time and its amazing. i take it off every 2 weeks and wash and deep condition my hair, braid it back up and sew the wig back on along with the closure. allows me to take care of my hair and definately saves alot of time =] but your hair looks amazing girl ! love it !
i just tried a closure for the first time and needless to say i wasted $140 because i ruined it with the adhesive and also gained a bald spot lol. but i use the lace front tape and i cut it to were its thing and leave very little leave out in the front and once my closure is sewn on i tape down the front on the part right behind my leave out [hope that makes sense] and it last really well. to take it off i use my argan oil and a brow brush.
hey diva i wear closure with out glue and i braid a braid across my hairline as close to the forehead as possible and that works perfect for me. So do one braid in a circle going around your forehead as close as possible for your forehead and the rest of the braid should be going towards the back... and also the braid going across your forehead should be as small as possible... that should work...
It looks so natural. The hair is very pretty. I never used a closure before and I always have leave out so it can look natural. I will definitely look into this technique. I’m natural too btw and I hate adding heat to my hair to get it to blend with the weave
HONEY AIN'T NOTHING WRONG WITH THE WAY UR CLOSURE LOOK! I HAD TO GET REAL COUNTRY SOUNDING ON THAT ONE! LOL! SWEETIE U LOOK AMAZING I LOVE THOSE EARRINGS SUPER GLAM. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! GOD BLESS!!
You answered your own question...braid two thin going down if u have a middle part..this way u can sew down in the front the closure n get it as close to the front ur hair. Then the orbs braids can go straight back..good luck it will work..closures without glue has to have a specific braiding pattern
check out 1DolcieJolie vid on silk base closures she explains it perfectly on how install your closure without glue or tape...very informative vid I must say!
@webinuri lol, yes, I used the vhf Brazilian curly, I couldn't remember the name in the video that's why I said wet&wavy. Yes, I will definitely do a video showing it parted on the side :-)
I've been saving up to buy this hair an a closure I'm really glad u r reviewing it most ladies dot use closures but I dot like my hair left out either could you pls let us know the best way to install without using glue I'd rather get my hair sewn an the closure thanks Ur hair an makeup looks great
Your hair already looks nice but another girl by the name of BisaNation shows you how to make a 3/4s wig with a front lace closure, you should watch her channel she's good as well :)) (tell her i sent you if u decide to subscribe)

Love this videoo!!!! was wondering what a closure is??? Ive never had a weave im only part West African and the other half of me is greek so i have pretty relaxed curls but im interested in weaves and was wondering what it was. Thanks, Love from Australia!!!
for the closure braid a really small perimeter braid across where the closure is going to be placed at. making sure to keep that small singl braid separate from the rest of the braids and sew the front of the closure on that braid. Every two weeks unbraid that braid to readjust the closure.....Btw, this is the best installation i ever seen on you.
@deescottie thank you so much. They are actually a sample for TheGlamCloset (which is my online accessories boutique that I will hopefully make public soon lol :-)
