  • Was that Lwaxana Troi making out with that guy during 4:25?

  • I defy anyone to come up with a "Star Wars" version that comes anywhere close to this.

  • WOW!! I really apprecated the time and effort it must have taken.

    Nice work.

  • SUPERB!

  • GALILEO!!!!!!!!!!!!ROCK THE ON!!!!! :-D

  • fantastic stuff. 10/10.

  • Wow, just wow. That was perhaps one of the best tribute AMV's I have seen in a long time, and made on tape! Quite an accomplishment, and very well synchronized!

  • Absolutely brilliant! Does nayone know where I can purchase this video? Somewhere other than iTunes, preferably. I tried that and, apparently, iTunes is not compatible with 64-bit version of Windows Vista.

  • Fantastic! To other ST fans if you haven't seen it, you must look up the "Episode Song" (I did not write or in any way have anything to do with the episode song posting, I'm a fan like ya'll and know great fan work when I see it, much like this one)

  • This video's changed since the last time I saw it...the "Escape from reality" line used to coincide with a scene from Frame of Mind...

  • Brilliant

  • Simply FANTASTIC!! It must have taken you ages to find all these scenes and edit it so perfect to the music! Stunning! And Bohemian Rhapsody - one of the best songs ever! Just gave you the highest score!!

  • I used to watch this video on a big screen in a bar called Pages in the 1990's. I'd love to see the Babyon5 ones again...

  • Pretty much the complete Page's collection is on here - click on my "m185874" name above and view the whole lot, including B5 ones.

  • 3:01 LMFAO!!!

  • AWESOME! Best Star Trek video on Youtube!

  • Wonderful, you've even managed to find a way to make the chracters do a "Wayne's World" headbang to the heavy rock section. I won't just 5 stars this, it's going in my personal gavourites.

  • that was the shit.

  • *Happy face*

  • I never noticed before, but Star Trek characters really get put through the wringer...

  • On 26th June 2009 this video counts 80.833 views, 836 favs, 452 ratings and 169 comments. If you ask me, it should have like a million views.

  • This is without doubt the best take on Star Trek Bohemian Rhapsody I've ever seen in my life. I still laugh out loud every time at the line "I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy" ^^

  • Ah, the Pages Bar memories.... thanks for uploading this!

  • Ah man, I was there when this was played at Page's. Good times, good times.

If you have Manny's Babylon 5 video to "The Show Must Go On" we'd really appreciate it (or if it's up but I've failed to find it let me know where it is) - thanks :-)

    Grimmbeard

  • awsome ^_^

  • His is brilliant!

  • Wow, wish video was better quality (this is some VHS rips :(( )

  • Galileo!!!!

  • I remember this! Did you used to show it at Pages Bar? I had many a good night in there in the mid nineties.

  • It's a funny, awesome video.

  • This is so awesome!!!

  • i lvoe this video itos cool and so sweet to

  • That was really awesome. May I suggest a re-edit with Spock jamming out on the lyre with the hippies for the guitar solo parts? Otherwise, really great.

  • Good job I am a Die hard trekkie to the core and queen fan i liked it immensly

  • Star Trek is something bigger than life..

  • Perfect!!

  • nice touch with the galileo shuttlecraft

  • I've been a Picard guy for pretty much all of my Star Trek fandom, but largely thanks to this video, I now "get" Kirk.

  • Out of all the star fleet captians, i would have to go with Sisko, because he fought Jem Hadar, Klingons and other thing with his fist. Picard always just used a phaser.

  • This video is totally awesome! I watch it at least once a week since I've found it.

  • O_O

holy crap, that has got to be the most awesome thing I have ever seen on youtube

  • makes me want to watch every single episode of star trek

  • Well done! Bravo!

  • Love Queen, love Star trek and a way you combine them! Each phrase! Your an artist man you are!

  • Indeed! Every sentence is accompanied by the perfect Star Trek moment. It is amazing to see all the series carefully composed in such a beautiful way :)

  • I loved the head banging and Geordi going blind to "Anyone can see". I was amazed at how in time with the music it was!

  • very nicely done

  • "Parallax": The gravity screwed with the Doctor's emitters.

  • lulz at this fer sure

  • What episode is 3:44 from?

  • With the shuttlecraft? I'm guessing it must be from TOS episode "The Galileo Seven" given how it coincides with 'Galileao, Galileo' and all.

  • I agree with JoshGellis

  • kirk dieng in generations was prolly one of the saddest parts in all of Star Trek. Btw great vid everything matched up i didnt even know you could do that!

  • brillent editing, well done !!!!!!!!

  • I love Worf at 3:00.

  • Worf is the best ^^

  • i love this video ti so cool so love this show and love this song

  • Tasha Yar 1:49 -> Windows XP?

  • Wow ! Sometimes funny and always beautiful !

  • Gene would of loved this.

  • Marvellous, perfect timing for everything. I loved it! 5 stars!

  • almost everything in the world has some connection to queen's bohemian rhapsody

  • That was one wild ride!

  • m185874 Laughed enough for even my Room-mate to almost fall out of the chair !!!! Must have done a lot of 'Geek'-work to put that together. Keep them coming! qabner

  • how can your laughing cause your roomate to fall out of his chair? weird.

  • great song an great video 5 out of 5

  • Nothing, really matters, anyone can see..

    (Geordi goes blind)

  • Worf's birthday party was awesome. "Sometimes I wish I'd never been born at all." Haha.

  • Heck yes... that cracked me up so much!! His face is priceless. (3:00 if you want to see it again.)

  • Beautifully done. When you love what you do, it shows! The Galileo - Galileo part at 3:35 made me snort. The parts were the various ships were destroyed to the instrumental parts seemed to be timed right on the beats - just like fireworks. A pleasure to watch.

  • Nice Work

  • stop at 4:15 for the best moment in Star Trek history.

  • This is so nice!!!

  • least favorite parts: voyager

favorite parts: DS9, and wesley getting slapped by his mom. YAY

  • GREAT VIDEO! The timing and images were WONDERFUL!!! Keep up the great work!

Love, Hope, Peace, & Christ Be With You,

    Cal-el

(Or Captain Cal as I was known on my Cal-Trek BBS)

  • Sweet! You didn't have any bias in any series! Well, I suppose you didn't put any Star Trek Enterprise series, but I didn't like that series much. Excellent work.

  • this video was made before enterprise was shown.

  • Brilliant on so many levels Warf's birthday party, young Jean-Luc "no no no" etc. Thanks for making my day!

  • so sad. i almost cried :( 5 stars

  • Wasn't this one of the special features on a movie DVD?

  • No, this was done about a decade ago for the Page's Bar sci-fi themed pub in Westminster by Manny Patel, one of the customers.

  • excellent. outstanding.

  • Great syncing, great video. Well done!

  • That was AWESOME!!!

  • Thank you so much for putting this together. I love the song and am a Trekkie from way back. I laughed through a lot of this, recognizing the clips. I'm stunned at how well put together this is, and agree this is a true labour of love. The clips you picked fell in with the song perfectly.

Cheers to Mr Roddenberry, the one and only GBotG

  • I love queen and I love star trek! It's fantastic!!!

  • God bless Gene Roddenberry !

  • Awesome video! Several of the scenes were spot on. Good editing.

  • Boy howdy! Was this ever a labour of love! GOOD job! And here's to the Great Bird of the Galaxy, Gene Roddeberry, who gave us the Star Trek universe! Didja know he survived piloting an airliner that crashed in Africa in the 1950s?

  • great, queen and star trek, two of my favourites

  • Gosh, my two favorites also!! This is absolutely fantastic! (My other favorite band is the German group RAMMSTEIN. Can anyone make a Star Trek Video to that? Maybe all ship scenes.)

  • star trekkin across the universe! lol i used to listen to that all the time

  • The video says Star Trek 10 year , but shouldint it say Star Trek 30 years because this year is indeed the 40 anniversary of Star Trek and DS9 and Voyager where on during the shows 30 years during the 1990's .

    Cheers , Jason [ Doctor Who One ] .

  • OMG THIS ROCKS!

  • Incredible, could not take my eyes off it. Only a True Treky could fully appreciate this.

  • fantastic!

  • beautiful

  • This sounds better than all the other times I heard the song. I can make out the lyrics.

  • a week? wow. It that all from tape clips?

  • What Episode is it that Data Leans to play Violins

  • holy crap. I watch the time warp before this and there aint much in it. DAm excellent work, that must have taken for a every and a few months to do that. as i said on the other, outstanding work, Subscriping? make it so !, lfmao

  • Actually it took a week to make :)

  • Whohoo! That was one wild ride!

  • I didn't want to blink. Total brilliance, clearly a very long time was spent syncing everything... amazing...

  • Love it!! Especially the head banging moments, very funny.

Which episode does the clip for 'Very very frightning me' where Picard is searching in engineering and a weird alien thing springs up and scares him come from?

  • The one where people on the ship de-evolve. That was Barclay, actually.

  • That was funny as hell! I love that damn song

  • great show with great song!

  • If Freddie Mercury would have seen this, it would have become the official video for the song.

  • This is the best! I left a comment on the 'I will survive' before seeing this one... Your work makes it hard to decide! They're all Brilliant!

You took me through an entire range of emotions, from remembering Freddy Mercury, the death of kirk, Spock, the humor, the satire, the parallelisms... You recreated so many instances and memories for me... THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I cracked up during 'Galileo, Galileo' and you show the Galileo... So well done, everything... THANK YOU!

  • I always thought Star Trek was a very serious sci fi. I guess it has some humor to it now.

  • Beautiful! Excelent scenes you picked for each lyric. So fitting. Got a bit teary eyed at "I don't wanna die", laughed at the Weasly bashing scenes and headbanged with the "headbanging" scenes ^_^

  • a grand huzzah i take my hat off to you

  • this song makes me cry everytime I listen to it

It's funny to watch some scenes from me star trek now!!

  • I love tgsu vdideo it so cute love it

  • Excellent! Must of taken you ages!

  • Wow!!!!!!!! as a fan of Queen and Star trek I salute you.

  • This is the best video on YouTube!

  • Excellent!!

  • Oh my gosh! amazing, I don't know how people do stuff like this. As a Trekkie and an absurdly sentimental person this was really sweet.

  • Amazing how you fitted the clips so perfectly to the song. Must have been a lot of work - excellent!:-)

  • Brilliant - Dad loved it - He's a Star Trek Geek & Likes Queen too! Great Combo for him.

  • VERY GOOD WORK ON THIS!!!!!

  • a pint of guiness in memory of Gene roddenberry

  • GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks to whoever put this up! :) There's up to date version on my youtube profile.... :)

  • Hi Manny! Paul H. here. Suggest you read all the comments on your vids - they're getting some sensational comments!

  • Brilliant!

  • i was never a Star Trek fan but this is Jawsome!

  • I enjoyed this version as well as the one by NextGenFan. Great work!

  • That was cool.

  • wow, the begining is kinda depressing... Good Work!

  • Why -- WHY didn't I see this one first? Awesome. Maybe one day I can contribute a higher quality version of this. Maybe. That's a whole lotta Trek to go through.

    Again... awesome.

  • Thanks - it was done on two VHS decks by hand - long before the days of easy PC video editing, so the quality's not what it could be. It is around a decade old, so no new Trek in it either.

  • Two VHS decks by hand? That's dedication. All that fumbling for tapes, loading, ejecting, rewinding and fast-forwarding... what I did -- or rather, re-did -- was trivial by comparison.

Are you the original author of the video I copied? There seems to be some overlap. I would like to credit you, if that's the case.
