Honestly, I can't see Lambert doing anything that will sell albums. People like him because he is a great PERFORMER. When you just listen to a studio version song with his high pitched yells, it sounds horrible.

Out of 100 million votes, Arkansas registered 38 million...........Almost half ot the entire country.....and they only have 2.8 million people.
That means if every single person voted..you'd need on an average of 13 votes per pserson.
We can assume that not everyone voted, obviously.
If 1.5 million voted you'd need 26 votes per person.

So, out of 100 million votes, almost half came from Arkansas.............Seems more than odd.
I doubt very much that 1/8 of the population voted. So make that 1/16 of the population and you would need on an average of 208 votes per person.

Nora you are totally right! Adam is a very singular singer. He is like no other I ever heard. He is extraordinary! Kris is good, but Adam is very far greater than him, and even Kris was surprised after results. When I heard him call Kris Allen, I nearly fell over. I love American Idol with all my heart, but this might just be the last year I watched it. Im done with these upsets lol.
