Well it looks scary, you know, fun and all. But is it really Disney? I mean Ghost Galaxy, sure, but for a Disneyland park, this might be a bit much.

Disney's toyed with the idea of putting a version of this in Hollywood Studios in Florida to compete with Universal. So families and little kids would go to Magic Kingdom for the Not-So-Scary Party, and the older kids/adults would go to Hollywood Studios.

I think it helps that they don't have to compete with Universal Studios in China. I've never seen Disney do somethin this hardcore scary before.

i went last yr and the haunted hotel was awesome! the only thing was i didnt understand what they were saying coz they were speaking cantonese.. its too bad that the demon jungle was closed on that day....haha

The only thing we got from hong kong disneyland is space mountain Ghost Galaxy we didn't get demon Jungle and Alien Invasion and a lot of other stuff lacking

I love haunted houses, but I'm glad they don't have in at anihiem, only cuz that would ruin the traditions of disneyland. I wish they had a haunted version of just about every ride at disneyland. That would be awsome! Even if it's nothing major like just a big pumpkin patch surrounding jack at the end instead of gold. It would be cool!

The Main Street Haunted Hotel isn't as scary as Demon Jungle. I was scared like hell when those mummies started running after my group (they send you out in groups). We were running crazy. pretty scary for a "Disney" park.

What I find interesting about HKDL is how they are now promoting Halloween and "ghostly" things when they didnt want to include a Haunted Mansion attraction because of their respect for the dead. It would have been great to have a Haunted Mansion at HK, too.

Unfortunatly the only reason HK disney's halloween is a whole better is due to that fact that it's not owned by disney, but by Tokyo itself, thusly they can do a whole lot with their park and not be held to Disney's stringent rules. So while they get 'Haunted Halloween' we get 'Mickey's not so scary Halloween'.

Which does suck...majorly.

i heard that hong long dl is owned by disney. toyko dl is not a disney park but some people bought the rights for all the characters to ne in the park, so it's partially owned by disney

I believe I arrived just in time to correct a little mis-statement...HK DL is a Disney park, with Tokyo Disneyland being the only park leased out to an outside source, in this case, The Oriental Land Company.
