Older girls of our neighbourhood used to kiss me (I was no more than 10) to borrow this 45 vinyl from me in turn! I'll always feel indebted to Sacks-Sacks-Bailey and Sykes.
Boracigim çok tesekkurler ya , yillar oncesine gittim ya o zamanlar gedikpasa ortaokulundaydim bu radyolarda langirt salonlarind çalardi :) istanbul ( kumkapi)daki yillar Thank you vry much regards from belgium .....
It's a pity Phillips Records didn't release their version of "Summertime Blues" in 1965, they were Heavy when Heavy wasn't fashionable. A great live band; thanks for the memories BoraMT.
My Dad a pure genius along with uncle Raymond and the rest of the band. Excellent!!!! they also played with 'The Who' and various other bands. Best Dad in the world. All my love.........Aron Sacks
This wonderful song reached #1 spot on the Turkish charts and remained there for several consecutive weeks in 1965. Perhaps, this was the biggest success of the group ever recorded. We liked them very much in Turkey.
I ♥ this.
