The thing is, it's based on dogs' voices.

People used to dogs understand dogs' voices already! We can understand when dogs want attention or are happy, sad, scared, or excited - barks are particularly easy to understand. Some dogs don't even bark that much though. I think the main benefit would be for new dog owners who really don't know much, or for people who want to read in their language what their dog is saying for fun. If it could translate dogs' behaviour, that would be more helpful.
