I agree with another comment... can you please do a recipe for a pressure cooker?
I have tried over 20 of your recipes and loved EVERY SINGLE ONE... so I'm sure if you did a pressure cooker video, I'd love that too... and it'd be nice to have a relatively easy meal for our hectic family! :)
The name for the "cellophane: noodles is vermicelli (that's what's on the bag I get at home; we call it something totally different, but it's in Chinese so I'm not actually totally positive that that's what it's called in English) And I have to commend you on this because it looks amazing and if you hadn't said you were on the road, I would've never guessed.
Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)
WOW! my mouth waters just watching you making it!LOl! Im asian so i guess thats why. Im gonna make this,me and my husband loves grilling chicken and although is is american yet he loves the asian noodles, he love my pancit bihon..but i guess you use the sotanghon on this one..umm..im hungry..thanks for sharing your recipes chef john
this looks really good!! I will make this tomorrow. I will add some green onion for a bit of color as well. Thanks for another wonderful recipe, chef John!
I didnt know if you were promoting or dissing the salad dressing in this. I saw the shepherds pie Kraft challenge ,made it myself ,and it turned out really good, but could not make out the roasted red pepper dressing in it .
I've cooked alot of your dishes and my roomates never leave left overs.
I love all your recipes, and youre endearing consideration for us "veggies" as you like to call it, but Chef John--My food wish is a dish of tofu. Is it forbidden?? :D
WOW! even without your equipment, you sitll manage some awesome and yet so delicious chicken noodle. You must be on vacation trip or something. Nice job, thank you!
You need to get out more often. I LOVE seeing "make do" cooking ... especially when it ends up as yummy as this. And quit worrying about the sound. It is fine.
Hmm. I like you're Videos But i dont like that you allways use those pre-made things like Pre shredded bag of carrots, it just feels unprof. and this is general speaking.
Way to use your resources chief xD I definitely would've used the restaurant ingredients rather than buy them. I'd probably end up frying those noodles and eating them with the chicken. That looks delicious.
Unfortunately I hit my rice vermacilli noodles with warm water for 23 seconds by accident! Wasted the whole batch, what a mess. Damn you cruel fate, damn you. I love your sense of humor, keep it up. Informative and entertaining all at once!
The noodles are called bihun here in singapore (:
