I find it apalling that we have Congressmen more interested in repealing the "equal marriage act" than concerned about these horrors. It's time to demand that our Congressmen and women address not only the needs of their lobbyists but the needs of their constitutents. And, one of those needs is that WE NO LONGER live in a world where these horrors are allowed. WE CAN seize the day and change this. ORGANIZE. UNITE. PUSH. DEMAND. Meanwile, volunteer and donate. :-)

there should be a very serious penalty/jail time for doing this. this isnt drug trafficking or anything, these are living creatures who have emotions and thoughts. i think they should stop wasting so much money on busting crack heads and invest more in this

Looking at the legalities, I assume this was shot during the rescue and released after charges were pursued. Other wise, you might find yourself in a legal snare, and that would serve no ones purpose at all.

3 of my dogs were from a pet store i figured they were from a pet mill, so im glad i got them when i did so i could care for them, they are the healthiest dogs i have seen, and two of them had puppies together, (both different breeds) the female has 8 heallthy puppies, watching this is just horrible, makes me want to go these places and kick the breeders asses one by one.

There's millions of animals euthanized every year in the US alone, probably billions throughout the world. Euthanized does not always mean humanely.

Think about it, it costs more to do it humanely.

So, not only are these animals dying without love, but many without proper procedures taking place.

But somehow, people close off their hearts and buy a puppy from the internet, or petstore because it's "so cute". Without the care of the pain their parents went through

So this is how we treat man's best friend. Animals that hunted along side of us when we emerged from caves, protect our livestock, keep us safe, warm and give us companionship. The humans that do this ought to be shoved in those cages and left to rot. The Amish run a lot of puppy mills. And ebay classified now is supporting puppy mills. did this miller have plenty of time to clean up the place or what? I've never seen one so clean & the dogs a bit frightened but not filthy and matted as they most often are, underfed, ill...

don't believe for a second people that mill dogs are kept this nicely, and even if they were, it is wrong to mass breed animals while so many die in shelters.

tell friends and family to stop buying the current fad dog and start adopting. often a bit of trouble due to neglect, abuse, but worth the time

@attila1997 There are some of them that are much cleaner and better organized than our usual image of a puppy mill, filthy and run down etc. .... but even if its a clean cage it's still no way for a dog to live their life. and not a good way for a pup to learn how to be part of a human family.

THANK YOU hsus for alleviating some of the suffering. Everyone wonders why puppy mills exist. The AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB (AKC) is why. They get $25 or so for every puppy registered and they register about a million per year. They are against ownership limits for commercial breeders and oppose ALL Bills that attempt to crack down even minimally on puppy mills, and they instruct their members to act on their behalf. Thank God for all the wonderful rescuers of these sweet puppies and dogs. It is so sad to see what they have been thru..I know..we rescued a puppy a yr ago from one of those places. He was caged for 9 months, no human contact..just like a caged kitten, all matted,his bottom was raw with infection. He is still leary of strangers, but he's starting to come around. He is so sweet and loving w/us. How can people do this!!!
