Please don't think I'm a cold callous person, but why should we cry for Aindra? He left his body in Vrindavan, paying his obeisances to his deities. In many ways, he was a saint. Should we not celebrate because as far as I can tell, he's going back home, back to Godhead?

because he is, of course somehow related to the body to a certain percent untill the phisical body is compleatly burned .that is why.

you are also not your name for example but if we write your name on the newspaper you have a sort of connection with it.it´s a similar connection,you are not the name but the name is in a little way connected to you. Hope this help to understand. HK

Aindra was not a great devotee because of his singing or for re-establishing 24 hour a day kirtan in Vrindaban. He was unusual even among devotees because he had more faith in the Bhagavatam than in the air he would breathe. To him Krishna was a living reality and faith like that is the rarest thing on earth.

Wow! A real tear jerker! What an unfortunate event for us ~ we will miss him dearly ~ but we will play his Kirtans and read his book and find the light and live there ~ glad that he left in Vrindavan, like Srila Prabhupada. We can be happy that Aindra Prabhu is happier now that he is in Goloka Vrindavan.

So let us take this as a good lesson, that death can come at any moment and we should get ready by serious practice of Krsna Consciousness like Aindra Prabhu.
